Man NASCAR needs to be embarrassed to hell and back for the end of this race. I cannot stand Mr. Ed but NASCAR screwed him long and hard on that restart, then to try and make it right for him, they f*** over Smoke. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt but that was outright bullshit and they know it.

Will Power is unstoppable. Third win in a row this season, third win in a row in Brazil, second pole position of the year, most laps led this season. He has a 45 point lead in the championship, which almost guarantees he'll still be in first after the Indianapolis 500.
Top ten in the Sao Paulo Indy 300:
1 - Will Power 2 - Ryan Hunter-Reay 3 - Takuma Sato 4 - Helio Castroneves 5 - Dario Franchitti 6 - James Hinchcliffe 7 - JR Hildebrand 8 - Charlie Kimball 9 - E.J. Viso 10 - Rubens Barrichello
Even though qualifying was mostly even, Chevrolet took seven of the top-ten spots, with Sato, Franchitti, and Kimball the three Hondas in the top-ten. Servia had the highest finishing Lotus in 11th, but was also the last car on the lead lap.
Top-ten in the championship heading into Indianapolis
1 - Will Power / Team Penske #12 / Chevrolet - 180 pts 2 - Helio Castroneves / Team Penske #3 / Chevrolet - 135 pts 3 - James Hinchcliffe / Andretti Autosport #27 / Chevrolet - 123 pts 4 - Ryan Hunter-Reay / Andretti Autosport #28 / Chevrolet - 121 pts 5 - Simon Pagenaud / Schmidt/Hamilton Motorsports #77 / Honda - 118 pts 6 - Scott Dixon / Target Chip Ganassi Racing #9 / Honda - 109 pts 7 - Takuma Sato / Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing #15 / Honda - 83 pts 7 - Ryan Briscoe / Team Penske #2 / Chevrolet - 83 pts 7 - JR Hildebrand / Panther Racing #4 / Chevrolet - 83 pts 10 - Dario Franchitti / Target Chip Ganassi Racing #10 / Honda - 82 pts

Big Will Power fan so it's great to see him dominating the past three races like this, but I think it ends here. Indy is way to unpredictable to pencil in Will as the winner. Hell, it would be difficult to outright predict he does well considering how quickly fortunes can change there.

Yeah, definitely can't say he'll be the winner for Indianapolis, especially if the Hondas are better on the ovals as they supposedly are. He will most likely still be the championship leader afterward though. Assuming the qualifying points are the same as last year, the only drivers who could possibly take the lead are Castroneves, Hinchcliffe, Hunter-Reay, and Pagenaud, and each would require a dramatically bad performance by Power and a ridiculously good performance by the other driver. He's had a couple good runs at Indianapolis - 5th in 2009 and 8th in 2010 - so it wouldn't be a complete surprise if he won.
Can't wait for practice to start!

Also, is it just me or are this year's cars under powered compared to years past? Granted, the first four races of the season have been street/road courses, but I feel like the cars are slower and don't seem as powerful as they used to be even with most of the cars using the twin turbo set-up.

Makes sense considering last year's unfortunate event to end the season. Well, they don't sound as power nor look as menacing as they used to that's for sure.

I saw that regarding the ME paint scheme
some more news on that (jayski.com) UPDATE 2: Getting permission to bring the movie car to life was no easy task. Busch's girlfriend, Patricia Driscoll, is the head of the Armed Forces Foundation and approached team owner James Finch with an idea to run a Talladega Nights car while raising awareness for her organization, which does charitable work with armed services members suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Driscoll worked behind the scenes for two months to get approval for the car, which was far more complicated than you might imagine. After lower-level execs at Sony Pictures rejected the idea, Driscoll pulled some strings and finally got the studio's president on the phone. "He was like, 'Yes! This is an awesome idea. Let's do this!'" she said. But even after Sony approved, there were still others who had to sign on. For example: • The picture of the cougar on the car is actually "Karen," the cougar who co-starred in the movie. Because Busch's car needed to use the photo, Driscoll had to get permission from Karen's handler - and the photographer who took the picture for the hood. • Every company whose logo appeared on the movie car had to agree not to be on the real-life version. • Will Ferrell's people had to agree to Busch's use of the car. And finally, Finch had to agree as well. It took until Monday to get the team owner to sign off on the idea after some initial hesitation. Busch and his crew plan to drop lines from the movie over the team radio all weekend, which will include referring to crew chief Nick Harrison as "Lucius Washington." Driscoll joked about Busch's often-vitriolic radio communications by saying it was the one time where he would actually WANT fans to listen.

I don't like this. There's a ton of emergency workers around McClure's no. 14. One of them was waving his hand to get them over there faster. I just have a bad feeling about it.
