53 year old Mark Martin likes Rap music? Mind = Blown. You didn't know that? It's a pretty known fact for a while. Granted, he's one of my favorite drivers, so I'd probably know it. But yeah, it's still kinda weird.

But yeah, it's still kinda weird. Yeah, I haven't followed NASCAR as closely in the past 3 years. I'm making an effort to get back into it though. Also, Harvick's pushing like no other on Hamlin. And just as I type that, poor Kevin runs out of gas.

Gateway to reopen.According to some of the guys over at Speed's forums (who I've come to find rather reliable), they want IndyCars back. If it's anything like IndyCars used to be at that venue...PLEASE, ST. BERNARD, MAKE THIS HAPPEN! I remember this race...and THAT is the sort of IndyCar racing I grew up with.

Yeah, the 95-01 CART seasons were out of this world. The field was ridiculously stacked and the racing was really damn good too. You had Little Al, De Ferran, Zanardi, Tracy, Vasser, Rahal, Villenueve for that one season, a young Franchitti,Mario, Juan Pablo Montoya and an aging Emeron Fittipaldi, Fernandez and Greg Moore contending for the championship in that time span. Awesome time for American open wheel racing.

I love it. I'm pretty sure they've engineered the turbos to reduce turbo lag as much as possible, but I think it's going to be real interesting to see if it doesn't get somebody during an important restart late in a race.

Loved the chassis in those days. They looked big, fast, and menacing...like an F-14, and yet nimble and graceful.
In particular, the Reynard that Zanardi was in as Tracy screams past him out of 4...my god, but I loved the lightning bolts on Vasser, Montoya, and Zanardi back when.

Kasey Kahne wins pole for Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Las Vegas.
Jamie McMurray and Juan Pablo Montoya's cars will have Dan Wheldon stickers on the roofs this weekend.

Just tuned in. Seeing that they're back in Vegas, have they said a lot about Dan Wheldon? Not really. Which is kinda disappointing. And Junior's already looking strong early on.
