But this logic is just wrong to me. it's a really narrow-minded idea that the adults in the audience'll suddenly start cheering Cena cause he's heel. Leave the inaccurate stereotypes to WWE... Many on this board have explicitly stated that they prefer heels. Hell, it's even been seen in action; Mark Henry went from being a nobody on these boards to being one of the reasons to watch SmackDown for over half of the board. Be it irony or on purpose, a lot of the people on here who don't like Cena would jump (back, in some case) on the bandwagon once he went heel. You assume that this board represents the majority of the WWE Universe. Off the top of my head, you guys started a huge, year-spanning meme about Batista being afraid of sports equipment. For a long time, all profanity was filtered as "smurf" and "snork". And of course, there's the My Little Pony Movement. You're...not exactly run-of-the-mill wrestling fans...

You guys say the people who boo Cena now will then cheer him.
No way. All they have to do is have Cena beat up CM Punk and take him out and then there will be absolutely no chance the internet smark fans will cheer him. You also have to remember that people thought that Hogan would get cheered if he turned heel and he did to an extent but it was usually only about 10 to 20 percent of the audience so it didn't matter.
This Otunga group has to be leading to something. I get that Cena sells a lot of merchandise but a solid NWO revival would sell just as many if not more shirts than Cena. Why? Because the old NWO shirts back in the 90s were the second hottest selling T shirts in history right beneath Austin 3:16.
I wouold prefer if they went Red and Black and did it Wolfpack style. That way it keeps it a bit fresh. I also think he gangsta style of the Wolfpack stable would be perfect for a Thuganomics Cena to lead.
The difference between this NWO revival and others is the fact that this one will be a Next Generation sort of thing. It will put over younger guys like Swagger, Miz, Ziggler, and Otunga.

You guys say the people who boo Cena now will then cheer him. No way. You have obvious forgotten that most of the people who boo Cena are only booing him, because WWE books him like Superman. Smarks didnt boo heel Cena, when he was the doctor of Thuganomics in 03 and 04.

Only problem I see with that is that I feel at times that the time to turn Cena heel has passed. They could've done it when he was feuding with Christian, RVD, and even Jericho. They could've done it with Nexus, and they could actually do it now. But the WWE as we know it has no creativity, no originality, and no riveting concepts that will make an audience excited for it.
Cena turning heel would be great and I feel he would make a great heel if he stopped the lame insults, changed his character, and didn't even go back to the rapper gimmick. Just be something completely different that would make EVERYONE hate him.
