better:
B-Bry - Never thought he'd be WHC, let alone so quickly, let alone as over as he is.
JBL - went from being Farooq's buddy to being the last true heel in WWE. nobody tries as hard as this guy did to be hated.
Cody Rhodes - he's come a LONG way from being the guy we joked about looking like the default CAW.
Dolph Ziggler - the name and his initial stupid "guy who shakes peoples hands" gimmick coupled with past outings as a member of the Spirit Squad and Kerwin White's caddy made me really doubt he'd ever be anything but a jobber. que'll surprise!
Zack Ryder - never thought WWE would actually get behind him since they tended to ignore the internet.
Batista - even after he won the title I still thought he'd fizzle quickly. he proved me wrong, even though I still thought he was boring until his Douchetistas phase finally won me over.
Randy Orton - I knew from day one WWE had big plans for him, but I'm amazed he was able to recover from Triple H burying him so thoroughly.
Mark Henry - growing up during the Attitude era, it took me a very long time to see him as anything but "Sexual Choclate".
Worse:
Mr. Kennedy - I thought he'd be a multi-time world champ. then he put his foot in his mouth and became even lazier than X-pac.
Carlito - similarly, the guy was crazy over but then he just stopped caring. the fans followed suit.
MVP - it's a joke that this guy isn't a main eventer in WWE, and had to go to Japan. most squandered talent in recent WWE history.
John Morrison - I thought Miz would be "the Janetty". what a difference 2 years makes.
Sin Cara - constantly getting injured, I doubt the crowd will care much when he comes back.
Rob Van Dam - and this is all his fault. he was held down for years because Triple H and Vince were afraid he'd embarass them. then they finally give him a shot at being "the man" and he immediately proves their prior fears correct.
Matt Hardy - I thought the Edge feud would make main eventers of them both. instead, it made a main eventer of Edge and showed us how limited Matt Hardy always has been.
