My perspective: He is going to be coming back to be slammed against that "hard matress" for simply one night in the main event of main events against a guy that does the same thing for us throughout the year (week in and week out). I don't hate on him for leaving the business, but I don't see why I should like him all that much as a main event wrestler at this point. I appreciate the buzz he creates by coming back and all, but I don't really care much for him in the ring anymore. This is why I 100% side with Cena in the feud. Dwayne makes cool movies sometimes though. Edge said it best.... I already understand that aspect. Obviously, Trent Barretta isn't losing a spot at Mania because of Rock. I am just stating how I feel when I see once-in-a-while Rock standing across from a wrestling-loyal Cena in a wrestling ring.

I'm sure Rock PAID his roofers Cena. ...I want him to use that line in a promo now and I don't even care if it doesn't make sense.

I am just stating how I feel when I see once-in-a-while Rock standing across from a wrestling-loyal Cena in a wrestling ring. 1. If Cena's movies were as successful as The Rock's, who's to say he wouldn't have bolted a couple years ago? 2. Rock came back when he didn't have to. He's not Hogan, starring in flops like Thunder in Paradise and Suburban Commando and having to fall back on wrestling time and again. He never has to come back, yet does it anyway. That seems to indicate a strong loyalty towards wrestling.

So wait, it has 5 bedrooms but 7 bathrooms?? If there's one thing I've learned from MTV Cribs, it's that people living in expensive houses for some reason need a lot of bathrooms.

If Ric Flair won the lottery or made wise bets on horse races when he was younger, who knows if he would have even have become the wrestler he became? Hypotheticals are hypothetical. 2. If that's strong loyalty, then how would you describe Cena's loyalty? I'm not saying that people shouldn't like the Rock. I'm VERY excited to see this match...... I'm just stating how I feel when I see him across from a dedicated wrestler like Cena in the ring.

Cena's not going to be wrestling forever man, once he decides to 'hang it up' hopefully no one's going to be on his case calling him a sellout/non loyal and whatever else. Rock did his time, now Cena's doing his time.

(this is kinda beside the point though) But I'll say once again to clarify, I like Dwayne. I give him all his deserved credit for his accomplishments... I just don't find myself gravitating towards him in this current wrestling program. Is that so hard to understand?

As far as time in the industry sure he's surpassed him. No I understand you it's the talk of Cena being the 'dedicated wrestler' which makes it seem as though Rock wasn't dedicated. edit: Don't want to make it seem like your opinion is stupid, it isn't. The tone of my post isn't meant to be attacking your views. Kinda came off that way, sorry.

I find it difficult to believe why someone would want to purchase a home SO expensive. However, I would have a hard time passing up a home that has it's own theatre. ;D I'm far from rich, but I understand it. If you maintain it well it's a hell of an investment. Also, if I was as famous as The Rock I wouldn't want to live in a "normal" neighborhood where people would bother me and tell all their friends "dude, I live by The Rock!" I'd want some sort of privacy and to be a little separated.

If I'm ever rich, I plan on buying a house out in the middle of my own land so that I won't risk having nosy neighbors bugging me and standing and gawking outside my house because of who I am.

I'm the same way. If I had the money, I'd be buying a place similar to what Triple H and Stephanie have:

I'm just stating how I feel when I see him across from a dedicated wrestler like Cena in the ring. Dedicated Wrestler? What would Cena be doing that would give him anything close to what the Rock got when he left the business? Or anything close to what he's currently getting in the WWE? Do you think Cena would stay if he had choices that would be as lucrative and grand as what the Rock left for? Maybe he would, doesn't Vince McMahon own his name? I had heard him say something like that. Isn't that why The Rock goes by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in his films? Dwayne established himself in the WWF with "The Rock" character, with the help of the WWF. He gained notoriety for himself, and for the company, they both made large amounts of money for each other, and in return Rock got one hell of a fan following and reputation, he used this to establish himself as a successful actor, regardless of the quality of his films, they gross well, for the most part. He comes back, and now they're comparing him to Cena in terms of who cares more about the business? What does Cena have outside of this business? His films are financed by the WWE, his rap album is financed by the WWE, he's got his Gillette advertising contract but that too is probably contingent on him being in the WWE. He's got a great salary, he's got a huge following, and the WWE is profiting off of it. If he thought he could go elsewhere and do more, don't question his ambition, he made it to the top of the company, even if I don't particularly think he should be there. Don't think that people just turn off their ambition once they get to the top, if Cena had the same options as the Rock, he'd seriously have to weigh those options. I don't think John Cena has those options.

Are you saying that you would be completely supportive of CM Punk or Daniel Bryan or Dolph Ziggler retiring tomorrow because they found satisfaction with their lives and no longer wanted to damage their bodies?

Why shouldn't we be? Yeah, I'd miss seeing them, but when it's time to retire, it's time. I'd rather have everyone retire like Edge; not completely broken down, and on their own terms. As opposed to Ric Flair, who has become a parody of himself at this point and shows no sign of stopping.
