 Yeah, she's totally pandering. *rolls eyes* ....I could go on wikipedia and come up with the names of main characters from video games I don't know about in about 10 seconds. What's your point? I'm not saying she's lying, but using that as "irrefutable" proof is a little weak . But what if Raiden was everybody's favorite character? Wouldn't that have ruined her "pandering"? |

Punk rock is long dead? You're joking, right? No, it's pretty well dead. I'm not counting hardcore punk, or post-hardcore, or screamo, or any of this other s***. I believe that you're 100% wrong on this. Punk rock has absolutely continued and still continues in forms that are close to the original, as many, many bands over the years have either carried on the sound (loose as it may be) or aesthetic spirit of old-school punk. If you're thinking of hardcore, post-hardcore, or screamo as the only ways punk was carried on past 1981 or whatever year you want to pick that it "died," you've not done your research. I'd legit love to get into debating this issue deeply -- maybe we should discuss it in off-topic. |

Pandering isn't another word for pretending. (Ignoring the many references to prostitution) one of the definitions I found was: "to cater to the desires of others". What is one of the main desires for heterosexual male nerds? A hot female who likes nerdy things. That's what AJ caters to.
Maybe it would be less confusing to say she exaggerates her nerdy qualities to make the fanbase like her more. Nothing wrong with that at all, but it can get a bit irritating.

I come into the thread and just looking at page 5, people are arguing about her nerd cred. Seriously, that's probably one of the dumber things I've seen on the board since The Rock not being the first black WWF Champion.
As for a shirt, she should come out with Daniel Bryan's t-shirt with YES! YES! YES! but, Daniel Bryan forces her to explain what she yells out when they're intimate. I think at this point, that's the best crowd participation deal they could do with Bryan and her right now. If Bryan says that, I could hear the crowd already saying it before she does. Though that doesn't help much with him being a verbally abusive ex-boyfriend.
Umm, maybe a Barber Shop Window shirt? That seems to be all the rage for WWE Superstars who don't get their own shirts. Hawkins didn't wear his on TV, but Bateman wore his this week.

I thought your wrestling personality was supposed to be YOUR personality turned up to 11. Isn't that exactly what she's doing?
Why can't she be a nerd with a taste for tacky clothing? Did she ever say that she IS punk rock? Maybe that was just what it said on the shirt.
