He was one of the 10 man tag in Massachusetts, one of the times when a guest spot got so anal, it was unwatchable.

Maybe they could do a parody of WrestleMania 7, and have Veronica reunite with the defeated Archie, and then there's a petition to bring Peck back. If they recreate this photo: That's your DVD cover. One thousand buys. If its Archie on Veronica's shoulder, all of the buys.

Barack O'Jamma, the Point Guard for The Throwbacks is coming back.
As if there weren't enough reason to buy this show.

Awesome-sauce. Seriously, with a little more publicity, Sugar D. could be the next big indy star.

New blog by Gran Akuma:
5/29/2012: Back in 2002,I read about two of my favorite wrestlers on the independent scene - Reckless Youth and "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush - opening up a wrestling school, called Chikara Wrestle Factory. I was immediately tempted to sign up, but figured the reality of being a wrestler wouldn't live up to my dreams. If I couldn't be the kind of wrestler I wanted to be, I didn't want to be a wrestler at all. Months later, it was announced that the first class of students would be making their in-ring debuts on the first CHIKARA card ever held. The girl I was dating suggested we go to the show to see what I thought of the first group of grads, and in a dimly-lit back room in Allentown, PA...I saw something special. Halfway through the first match, she turned to me and said "so when are you going to start?" That night, I made the decision to pursue my dream.
In the ten years that followed, I've realized that dream. I tore through training and graduated into the ring more quickly than any other Wrestle Factory student in history. I've been in the ring with some of the best the sport has to offer. I've wrestled for pretty much every major independent wrestling company in the United States. I've been across the country and abroad doing what I dreamed of since I was a kid. As a part of F.I.S.T.,I was a tag team champion, a Cibernetico winner, and even won King of Trios 2009. I was the workhorse in the most dominant group in CHIKARA's 10-year history. I was the guy who put the danger in "CHIKARA's most dangerous trio." But two years ago, at "Chikarasaurus Rex: King of Show," Icarus decided that wasn't good enough.
At the end of Season 10, I returned to CHIKARA. I came back healed. I came back stronger. I came back faster. I came back better, not just for revenge...but to show Icarus just how wrong he was...and he chose to run. In January, he took a double count-out rather than settle it right then and there. Since then, he's hid behind his "trial series", while I've torn through everyone he's put in front of me. At "Chikarasaurus Rex: How To Hatch A Dinosaur," the running stops. The hiding stops. My CHIKARA career is hanging in the balance. You know you can't pin me, Icarus. You know you can't stop me. Maybe you think you can climb a ladder more quickly than I can, and that's why you convinced Wink Vavasseur to make this a ladder match - because one-on-one, in a straight-up fight, you don't have a prayer against me.
On June 2nd - exactly one month shy of ten years from the day I started training - it's do or die for Gran Akuma. Either I show the world I belong on the CHIKARA roster, or I show the world I'm the "weak link" Icarus says I am. Either I walk away with my CHIKARA contract,or I simply walk away. Either I'll be the wrestler I set out to be ten years ago in that dimly-lit room in Allentown, or I won't be a wrestler at all.

You know what this iPPV is sorely lacking? Guest stars! We could use a couple more to make this an event worth watching. WHERE'S MY JOSHI STARS?!

I'm thinking something is up with the Loser Leaves Chikara stip. It was put in late, after all the video packages were done. To me it smells like someone is leaving wrestling or signing with WWE or TNA, not a Chikara storyline.

To me it smells like someone is leaving wrestling or signing with WWE or TNA, not a Chikara storyline. I dunno. Out of the four guys involved only Colt seems like a surefire WWE pick-up, and if that was the case, surely we'd have heard something, right?

Added to The Foggiest Notion: What a difference a couple of months make. From the CDPs, to wrestling "Who?" and "Eh."

And a blog from combatANT:
5/30/2012: There was a time when the five of us wouldn't have been caught dead in a CHIKARA ring. An organization populated by buffoons and clowns in silly costumes and stupid masks.
Those with true talent - like the members of GEKIDO - we rise to the top. We either get attention, or we simply take it. And we will steal the spotlight this Saturday. Like we did in Long Island. Like we did in Canada. Like we've done everywhere we've gone. The whole world sits up and notices whenever the 5 masked men of GEKIDO appear on the scene.
That's all it took. And when we take the masks off The Colony, and show you who they really are, how pathetic they really are, they will be reduced to nothing. Because what we learned, all those years we were out there watching CHIKARA grow and grow - is that talent doesn't matter to you. Put a mask and a cape on anyone, and you'll love them.
Now it is our time. Like deviANT said, it should be us atop the tecnico section of the Roster page. We donned these personas so that you would know. And we've beaten the old guard every time we've been in the ring with them. We've shown you that we are superior in every way.
The love of the fans, the critical acclaim - that belongs to us now. When we humiliate and exterminate the Colony, when we dismantle Jigsaw and humble CHIKARA's Grand Champion as the entire world watches, it will finally be clear to you. We don't have to play by your rules, do we? We took what is rightfully ours and you couldn't wait to put us in the main event of your biggest card of the season.
There is no denying the GEKIDO any longer. One by one, we'll erase these obsolete tecnicos you worship. We will not just replace them. 17 has already done that to maestro Quackenbush. When we're done, you won't even remember who they were. We are your new heroes.
Our rage, our wrath, will become power. Will become influence. Will become strength. GEKIDO becomes CHIKARA.
This Saturday. combatANT

Derek Sabato (@dereksabato) is tearing Gabe a new one on Twitter, not sure why but damn: {Spoiler} Hey bookers who are full of themselves. You know how a lot of talent gets found? Recommendations from other wrestlers. Instead of it being about people "bugging" you for work it's about people wanting to work for you. It's a compliment you idiot. You ever think these wrestlers recommending other wrestlers know they can have a good match with them and everyone can look good? Is that the goal or is the goal making sure everyone knows you're the face...voice...and whiny complainer of the company? If Kassius Ohno didn't see anything in @antoniocesaro you think he would've suggested him coming to America? And why was he booked? Because someone who was respected in the business and had a good eye for talent recommended him. Think about it. It's not rocket science. I didn't expect my "rant" to be liked this much by people. I thought he was everyone's Internet booking God? I guess @smartmarkvideo is now. As much as I disagree with @sugardunkerton on certain things...if he thinks a guy is a good fit somewhere he can say his opinion. The guy who cries about another company costing him money he was never going to make about people tweeting is a hypocrite. #WatchROH If anything that company screwing up should be something you take advantage of and tout...not cry about it. I guess no one remembers that if Zandig didn't turn down Feinstein you wouldve never been a founder of a company you didn't drop any $ in.
