Love how many people are just ignoring that more people actually watched RAW and are just bashing and blaming whichever segment or storyline they didn't like.

Love how many people are just ignoring that more people actually watched RAW and are just bashing and blaming whichever segment or storyline they didn't like. I think people just want to see actual ramifications for such a terribly executed show. It's like hoping the [whatever] Movie parodies fail at the box-office so they don't keep making them. It boggles the mind of some that it could do well and be well received.

I guess the real one to watch is next week's rating. If so many people hated the show, then surely they won't come back next week? (I say that because obviously us guys will)

It was the #2 watched cable show of the night, had more actual viewers than the last show and the second hour was bigger than the first. What's to complain about? Seriously though, sounds like cable ratings in general are doing pretty flat business at the moment. I don't know for certain, I don't live in the States, just theorising here.

Hope Cena beating Brock was worth pushing away any UFC or older fans he brought back with him. Last time Raw was this low it was the BCS Championship game.

I feel like I'm the only one here who liked the Big Show segment.

I feel like I'm the only one here who liked the Big Show segment. I didn't have a problem with it either. It created sympathy for Show and made Laurinaitis a bigger heel. Big Show's reaction might have been a bit much but you know. I've seen far worse on RAW than the segments everyone seems to be complaining about, far worse.

The fans have spoken. Put Lord Tensai back on Raw! Did Lord Tensai not being on Raw ruin Raw's rating? And, if so, will Lord Tensai's not being on RAW, thus ruining RAW's rating, ruin Lord Tensai's gimmick?

I feel like I'm the only one here who liked the Big Show segment. It was great! I dunno, Raw wasn't amazing but it still had a great tag match, good dramatic segment with Show, and Paul E pulled off another great promo. The ending segment sucked due to Cena being about as unlikeable as humanly possible and everything else was unspectacular but it's not the worst Raw ever in my humble opinion. Plus aren't Nielsen ratings based on people filling in pieces of paper in a few thousand homes? That's not a representative way of measuring viewers at all so it always baffles me when people read into 'em in such cynical and embittered ways. For example: CM Punk costing Raw it's viewers since being champion/John Cena defeating Lesnar costing WWE money etc etc, it's all opinions with unproveable, practically irrelevant numbers. I know the logic is 'this is the only thing given to us as ravenous fans of a largely derided TV product' but it's such a crap system to back your own opinions with. It's scraps of information pushed into a system to try to make people believe it's nationally representative in such a precise manner when it's really not. It's as precise as you can get, but that could still mean it's 97% bulls*** y'know? To be fair I am probably just showing my hatred of the Fallout feeling Nielsen system as opposed to talking about the show, but I always feel people mistake the system as something which takes into account what every TV has been watching.

I will be shocked if that Big Show segment didn't lose droves of viewers, as it deserved. Yeah that segment could have been done in about 5 minutes, not 20. That was my beef with it anyways, and the fact it's about the 400th time Big Show has cried this year. HORRID Raw, I was so bored I was playing 3DS while watching(not knocking the 3DS cause I love it but seriously, when its that boring, somethings wrong)

I know we won't find out until later today but I'm actually expecting the complete opposite of what a lot of people are suggesting. I think those Big Show/Ace and Cena/Ace segments probably drew really well. Granted, last weeks overrun LOST over 100,000 viewers so they don't really have a tough task to top that but I think those two segments will still end up gaining a lot of viewers. I kinda agree with this in that I'm sure that the Cena/Mr. JL segment was one of the highest rated segments of the show, along with the opening segment due to them hyping the Cena & HHH returns last week, don't know about the Show segment though. Also, I've said for a while that the number people should look at is the viewer #, not the Nielson rating, plus I think it's just based on viewers with Nielson boxes, not everyone, so it's always gonna be hard to get the exact no. of viewers right.

Love how many people are just ignoring that more people actually watched RAW and are just bashing and blaming whichever segment or storyline they didn't like. Eh, honestly I don't care who else watched it; I thought the thirty minutes or so was terrible, I bailed out on it and mentioned as such; really saying that if the numbers were low I could certainly understand why.
