I sadly still have money on Michael Bay continuing to assrape the franchise with a 4th film. I hope so. I'm loving this "assraping", and I'd definitely love to see him get his hands on Unicron. Guess you're okay with seeing Unicron's penis then

Guess you're okay with seeing Unicron's penis then We didn't see Megatron or Sentinel Prime's man-parts, so I doubt we'd see Unicron's, either. We'd undoubtedly see an awesome Ultimate-sized Unicron figure, though.

If Spoony has his way, "Deep Wang" will become a meme. Ex: "Transformers 3 Deep Wang'd so many movies! They 'Deep Wang'd' Inception. They 'Deep Wang'd' Wrath of Khan. Etc." I honestly hope it catches on.

Or a few minutes after Unicron eats a planet, you will see Unicron crap stuff out. Possibly. Given the history of the Transformers franchise from the 80s to now, that'd actually fit in quite well.

Just saw it, and the latter part was absolutely brutal. It was actually kinda fun finally seeing the Decepticons finally blowing away humans right and left. And seeing Chicago get destroyed was just awesome. Now for some other random thoughts and questions:
1: So when exactly did Megatron get half his face blown off? I don't remember that happening in RotF.
2: I thought Patrick Dempsey did a good job as the human villain.
3: Who did John Malkovich play?
4: What were the names of the red Autobot and the one who looked like a mad scientist and was killed by Soundwave?
5: I did not miss Megan Fox
6: So were the Decepticons just hibernating under the moon? What were they doing there to begin with?
7: Who exactly killed Lazerbeak? Was he just blown away while attacking Sam on the ship? Who pulled the trigger?
8: The ending was too sudden. It needed something more, other than Megatron/Sentinel Prime are dead, battles over and done.
9: Megatron had too small of a role in this film.

Sam's Boss 4. The Red bot was Dino AKA Mirage but name was changed by request from Ferrari The Old Bot was Que/Wheeljack 6. They were. They had to wait until Sentinel was brought back. He and Megatron were supose to meet on Earth. 7. Bumblebee

Ah, the scene where Bumblebee was about to bite the curb.
I'll admit, Bay got me on that one. I thought they were going to pull the trigger on that one. I actually did a small fist pump when he survived and went to town on everybody. Then I realized how big of a nerd I was... :/

I saw this today and dear god it SUCKED!!!!!
While not as bad as ROTF it's still terrible, Patrick Dempsey was only decent thing in the film.

Enjoyed it for the most part, but really hoping LeBouf goes the way of Megan Fox. Not in terms of not being in Transformers movies, but just not being in any movies ever again.
That was the most unlikeable "hero" I've ever seen. I was hoping for a scene where Optimus told him he wasn't doing things with the Autobots anymore because they all found him too much of a dick to hang out with.

Good, it's over.
Now can they reboot the series and make it good this time?

It didn't make sense in that he wanted to be on the winning side, but the decepticons kept losing, badly. Plus he just wanted to live, no riches or anything, just be a slave. Also he had no idea how to duck.

Also he had no idea how to duck. Actually, it did make sense. Remember, HE wasn't the one who made the deals that were in place with the Decepticons. His father did. He was just born into that situation, a point he made clear when he revealed his association with them to Sam and Carly.

Sort of an aside to the whole "Michael Bay soulraped my existence" comments....
Orson Welles, a far more acclaimed fimmaker than Bay, was of course involved with Transformers as well. In regards to his role in Transformers: The Movie, Welles stated "You know what I did this morning? I played the voice of a toy. I play a planet. I menace somebody called Something-or-other. Then I'm destroyed. My plan to destroy Whoever-it-is is thwarted and I tear myself apart on the screen."
I've yet to hear anyone accuse Orson Welles of ass rape, despite the clear disdain he had for the artistic legacy and cultural viability of Transformers. Why does no one upbraid Welles in similar manner? Because Citizen Kane was better than The Island?

Can I say that the last part of the movie (that 45-60 minute battle) was just downright badass. More than makes up for the "humour" in the first half of the movie.
