I don't like MvC 3 that much, but they'd redeem themselves if Alex makes it in.
Likely, the Capcom guys would be coming from Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and that'd mean Alex, Frank, Roll, Rock Volnutt, Batsu, and Kaijin no Soki.

Capcom is the ultimate love hate relationship. They made some of my favorite games (Dead Rising being the big one, Megaman is awesome too)
But then they do stuff like this.
Between the saving on Resi Evil Mercs, making insane prices for DLC thats already on the disk (Mortal Kombat at least makes some costumes incentives to download the compatibility packs), adding another Ryu and Akuma to SF4 when there are still popular characters like Alex and Elena who people are practically begging to be added, esentially giving up on mascot Megaman, charging for stuff like freaking Shadow Battles in MvC3 and now this, what the hell happened to you Capcom?
Even my beloved Dead Rising, the next game is just "Dead Rising 2 again but this time you have a camera"
The rumour mill is saying Asura from Asuras Wrath may make the cut. For those who don't know what Asura looks like, think Akuma with a gauntlet.
I really hate Akuma...

What bothers me is that they were talking big about MvC3 DLC...then all we get is 2 characters (that I think were already on the disc), and a costume pack? Maybe some of those AI battles too? I dunno, they were making it sound like they were going to get really behind that, so if they immediately go to "screw it, let's release a new version" when the first one has been out for all of 5 months, that's highway robbery even Bobby Kotick facepalms at.
So IF this is true, shame on you Capcom. I loved you as a kid, and this is what I get in return. I feel like a battered housewife.

I'll probably pick it up. I'm curious to see what character additions will be in the game.

The problem is hardly anyone actually bought MvC3, so to Capcom, it didn't make sense to continue to support a game that sold so poorly with DLC. They'll make much more money selling us the game again!

Dunno why people complain,
You gotta realise that if they did expand upon it, it wouldn't be just 'New Characters'
You've got to rebuild the game, sort characters, add features and what not, and that costs money, I didn't see anyone complain when SSFIV got released

They promised us that they would give use several new characters via DLC. All they did was give us two characters that were already on the disc, so thus not actually DLC(buying an unlock key doesn't count as DLC), and the only real DLC they gave us was the shadow mode and some new skins. In other words, Capcom didn't hold up a single damn aspect of their promise. That's why people are complaining about this.

Especially since they've already put out about four iterations of this game, and you know full well there'll be more.
