It's funny watching Mark Cuban screw over everyone else and get what he wants in the end.....but Dallas is just a little small team with no power. AMIRITE? With a poor little owner.

Looks like LA is getting Chris Paul after all. ESPNSteinLine Sources close to the situation tell ESPN that Clippers have emerged as "early frontrunner" to acquire CP3 now that Lakers out of running Please sign an extension with the Clippers, CP3. Please sign an extension, please sign an extension. And Mark Cuban as the champion of the small market teams? The Mavericks really are the Red Sox of the NBA.

Both franchises like to play the role as the plucky small market underdog, who's going against the "Evil Empire". But in reality, they're big markets, they spend a lot of money, and they are what they hate.

The Knicks and Wolves are reportedly in pursuit of free agent guard J.J. Barea.

As much as I can't stand the Lakers, they are in the western conference. So I rather Howard go to the Lakers than the Nets coming form a Knick fan prospective.

So the Knicks have finally exhumed the corpse of Chauncey Billups, and instead of throwing away the sarcophagus and starting fresh, they're just bringing in a new body, embalming it, wrapping it in cloth and placing it right back in the tomb that was once reserved for Billups.

If Crawford is coming in to be a starter, I HATE it. The idea of he/Melo/Stat being in the court at the same time makes me groan over how much Iso and ballstopping there would be.
However, if Fields starts and Crawford is used off the bench like he has been in Atlanta over the last few years, then I like it much, much more.

The Knicks really took the all-around positive reception from the Chandler acquisition and decided to run it into the ground.
Bibby? Crawford? No Barea? No Purple Drank? Trading Douglas?
Such terrible decisions. Douglas should be the starting PG, along with Fields in the backcourt. They had the best defensive rating for the Knicks backcourt all year, and can both shoot the 3. The club should've stuck with their original idea of letting the offense run through the SF spot like the 80's Celtics. The lineups are very similar (in type of player at each position, not talent). If they had to bring another PG in, Barea would be great. If he wants too much or too many years I'm fine with letting someone else take him. Williams was great in his role last year, and to not take him back is a terrible idea. Who will play when Melo is on the bench? Walker? Balkman?
Bibby is okay as a backup PG, and was surprising effective at shooting threes. The problem is he plays no defense, and fast guards are going to breeze right by him. Will Chandler patrol the paint? Yes - but you don't want him to pick up fouls left-and-right. Crawford is a great scoring punch, but he plays too much ISO on a team with two stars ready to take the shot. I'd would be mildly okay with this pickup if he acts as the team's sixth man. They should not start him over Fields.
C'mon Knicks - I'm trying to be a fan again.

By several accounts, a sign-and-trade between the Knicks, Hawks and Warriors is being worked on with the Knicks receiving Crawford while giving away Douglas, Walker and Balkman.

The Celtics fan making fun of another team signing an older player. Cute.
