The Saints need 219 yards against Carolina break the 2000 Rams' record for most total yards in a season by a team. Ain't gonna happen. We're gonna shut them boys down!

Another thing is that Eli can find some way to overcome mediocrity on the rest of the team and be clutch as hell. Romo has yet to find that. I do think Romo gets unfairly pissed on at times, probably because he's on the Cowboys so they're expected to go 16-0 and win the Super Bowl every year. And some of those last minute Cowboys losses over the years have not been his fault at all, if anything he deserves credit for keeping his team in the game. But I've seen him choke the game away more than be clutch. see, I feel like Romo gets overhyped because he's a Cowboy. Aikman and Buck will spend a game telling everyone how great Romo is, meanwhile he's 13 for 29 with a td and 4 picks It's a double edged sword with Romo and his position. He gets overhyped a lot. Yet when they lose he gets all the blame even when it has nothing to do with him.

Romo gets both undeserved hype and undeserved flak.
He's not TEH SUPER QB, but he's a lot better than some considered.
His gaudy stats, regular season wins, and playoff struggles reminds me of the pre-Super Bowl Peyton Manning.

Just to remind everybody, the NFL announces the Pro Bowl teams at 7 Eastern tonight. Brady, Tebow, Dalton, Fitzpatrick- it'll come down to these 4 in the AFC. NFC's gonna be a dogfight- Rodgers, Brees, Stafford, Newton, Romo, Eli Manning, Matt Ryan.

I say Newton gets #3 with the season he's been having.
In the AFC, I'd say we see Brady, Rothlisberger (I don't think the fact that he's injured is going to hurt his pro-bowl chances), and someone else. The #3 is difficult, since there aren't a lot of good QB's who are household names. That gives Tebow a chance, although his play wouldn't really warrant it.

What about Flacco for #3?

I think a read a couple weeks ago Tebow was 3rd in voting, so I'd guess that at the very least he'll be 3rd QB in the AFC.

What about Flacco for #3? Flacco has a chance, but Tebow is the popular choice right now. I wouldn't be surprised to see him sneak in just because of how much press he gets. Granted, the last two games didn't do him any favors.

There aren't really a lot of great QB's in the AFC this year beyond Brady and Big Ben, are there? Shame Matt Schaub got IR'ed mid-season. I think he would've easily deserved a #3 spot if he stayed healthy.

Keep in mind there's a high chance one of these Pro Bowl QB's make the Super Bowl, so we must also consider potential replacements.

Brady, Rothlisberger, and Dalton are my AFC QB picks while Rodgers, Brees, and Smith get it for the NFC.
Question is, who'll be the recievers? I'd think in the NFC that Calvin Johnson and Victor Cruz are locks, and maybe Jordy Nelson gets in too, but I don't know the fourth would be.

I've heard sports talk radio guys predict that pretty much no player or coach will vote Tebow into the Pro Bowl. If that's the case, he's not going to Hawaii. EDIT: Then again, when you account for the AFC QB headed to the Super Bowl and any other QB's that don't wanna risk themselves, maybe Tebow will go to Hawaii by default.

He's still not a good QB. He's just a really well-coached one. That and the rest of his team do a great job of covering up his flaws. There are a lot of Niners that deserve Pro Bowl consideration, but Alex Smith isn't one of them. My QB Picks would be: AFC - Brady (starter), Roethlisberger and Flacco. Andy Dalton as an alternate. NFC - Rodgers (starter), Brees and Manning. Cam Newton as an alternate. And just who I'd pick for the NFC TE, RB, and WR's, as I follow them more than the AFC: RB's - Frank Gore (starter), LeSean McCoy, Marshawn Lynch. Darren Sproles as an alternate. WR's - Calvin Jonson, Victor Cruz (starters). Marques Colston, (CAR) Steve Smith. Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson as alternates. TE - Jimmy Graham (starter, easily). Jermichael Finley. Tony Gonzalez as an alternate. Also even though he wasn't(?) on the ballot, Jason Pierre-Paul deserves a spot on the team. And I'd put David Akers as the kicker and Devin Hester as the kick returner.

Brady, Big Ben, and Rivers are AFC QBs, Tebow is an alternative (or one of them, I was only reading a Bronco forum)
