Am I the only one who finds the name bit silly? (DON'T BAN ME!) No, I hate the name, really generic-sounding IMO. Gives the impression it's a site for kids. That said, I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with. Quickly looking at a couple of the articles on the site, they're good reads.  Plus I'm all for the boards branching out into other areas like movies, music, etc. We've got a lot of knowledgeable folks here about a wide range of stuff, so it makes perfect sense to go outside wrestling a bit. |

I actually really dig the new name and think it's really cool to finally be connected to a website again. I've grown attached to the community here, and I think as long as the content of the forums remain the same, I'll be fine. Really top notch work people!

Thanks bud. Dream Big. Listen. I wish no ill will towards anyone. I don't call it like I see it. I call like it is. The heart and soul of this place has always, always been the messageboard, it could be associated with FruityPebbles.com and that wouldn't change. I'll leave it alone going forward but my gripe is this: Don't present me with the gobbeldygooker and proclaim it StoneCold Steve Austin. Change means Change, not a new logo. It means a new point of view, a complete upheaval of everything former. I'm disappointed in the way things were hyped and delivered. In my opinion, the delivery didn't match the hype. However, and I mean this, I like and respect many folks here, and will leave this at bay. I just hope going forward everyone will continue to have discussions of the highest level at this place. ...Outside of Alex Wright. The only thing we did on the board is make two teasers - one said "a change is coming" and another that said "a new era begins" - both of these are absolutely valid in what is going on. I'm sorry you feel so selfish in all of this that you can't seem to grasp that this IS a big change for the boards, in many aspects. I'm sorry you can't seem to grasp that the changes are only starting and part of an ongoing thing that will - HAS - to take time. I'm also very sorry now that I've kept giving you so much leeway over the years on here. I hate starting things off with this, but I think it's best - since you couldn't step away as I asked earlier and you're still going with the same gripe you've had in every post you've made on here in this thread - that I help you step away from the boards for a couple of days. Sorry, but I'm not dealing with you anymore tonight. I think it is ridiculous and childish that you banned him for having an alternate opinion and stating it justly...He didn't come in here insulting people or wish failure on the website. God forbid someone else have an opinion on here. |

God forbid someone else have an opinion on here. Want to clarify a couple things here. Slik isn't and wasn't banned. No one is or has been banned for having an alternate opinion. He posted his opinion once, that was fine. Then again, and again, each time saying virtually the same thing, and choosing to completely ignore anything we had to say in regards to his concerns. After the sixth time in doing the same, he was asked to stop. He didn't stop. Generally, that would start to go into flooding/trolling/spamming territory. Since he chose not to stop, I decided he needed to step away for a couple of days. |

I don't like the name. It's simply uncreative. You guys should have held a contest on the board for a community name, rather than stick the first thing you thought up on it. I've read the articles on the site, and they don't lack creativity. Just my two cents.
