You want to know what actually bothers me most about the segment overall?
He just.....took it. As in He Came to the Ring, Got fired, then gathered his things and left.....Nothing else.....
Very odd really.

Very odd really. Makes sense if you think about it, how many times is JR gonna have to act like a wounded puppy when Vince is being a douche to him?

JR is coming into the ring at the call of a heel character in authority position.
I thought one of two things was going to happen...
He was going to get "fired" again
OR
He was going to beat up just cause JR beatdowns get massive heat for heels.

I automatically assume that JR is getting fired everytime he gets called to the ring or even stands up.
JR in any area that isn't directly behind the commentary booth is never a good sign.

Stuff like this is why I'm actively pursuing other wrestling companies to support financially. WWE is just a mean, spiteful company and it just gets damn frustrating to watch at times like this.

It really is baffling how JR can still be such a company suck up after how they've treated him for so long. I really want to see him snap one day and beat the f*** out of Cole.

Considering the rumors that it wasn't scripted, I'm impressed with how Ross just got his shit and left. But I guess there's not much else a guy like Jim to do in that situation. I don't see him as the type to start breaking monitors and spitting and all that.

It's sickening how Vince seems to get off on bullying J.R. WWE: We're against bullying...unless it's good ol' JR getting bullied!

I doubt he was fired completely from the company - he still has a job, it's just they didn't tell him he was being "storyline fired" from commentary. Which definitely sucks - it's like the time they didnt tell him he was being drafted to Smackdown.

Remember, Be A Star!
But yeah, when you think about it JR's reaction wasn't too shocking. Dude's probably numb to it by now. Plus I doubt he was REALLY fired. What saddened me the most was Cole blaring up once again and I came to realization that "oh no, we're back to THAT." Once that set it, boy was it depressing.

Ohhh hogwash. This was all a work. They wouldnt have just fired JR in a shoot sense on national tv. This is just going to be another power struggle storyline at the top and people siding with one or the other powers that be

Just saw this
-- WWE.com has a video up of Jim Ross storming off after being fired this past Monday night on RAW while fielding questions from the cameraman about how it felt being fired in his home state and if fans felt that John Laurinaitis was more attractive than him.
I did a spit take laughing at that. What the hell kind of question is that?

It's a question fed to the interviewer directly from Vince. There's never been a more immature man in charge of a media empire. The day Vince retires will be a good one.

The video on WWE.com trying to get some comments from JR made me think they were trying to be very TMZ like with it. It made me feel even worse for him than I already did....

JIM ROSS DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS BEING FIRED ON MONDAY by Mike Johnson @ 9:26 PM on 10/12/2011 Yes, you read that one correctly. Jim Ross was interviewed by Yahoo Sports Radio earlier today regarding a number of topics and when the angle where he was removed once again from announcing Monday Night Raw was brought up, Ross stated that he didn't know it was coming. Ross commented: "No, no idea whatsoever. It came as a complete surprise. My wife, we're celebrating our eighteenth anniversary today, none of us knew. It took me completely by surprise. It was one of those embarrassing moments you endure and move on. It's like anything else in life - when you get faced with a challenge or an uncomfortable situation, you have to make some choices on how you handle it." Wheb asked if it was just a storyline, Ross responded, "If it is, no one has told me about the storyline. I just think WWE upper management has made the decision, again, to go with a different presentation at the announce position and I'm not in the plans. So, we move on." Thanks to Billy Krotchsen.

WWE and JR have the most abusive relationship going today.
WWE always dumps him without a moments notice and generally treats him like crap. But then he comes back the moment they call again.

Of course Jim Ross knew. He's been as much a character on the show as "Good Ol' JR" as anybody else. Laurinaits fired him for heat. Duh.
And why does Jim Ross keep coming back? Because he's as much of a worker as anybody else. He knows he has the fans sympathy and people seem to think he's genuine and authentic but, unless he has serious Stockholm Syndrome, he can always come back and everyone will love him because he's "Good ol JR".
He's no better than the rest of them, honestly.
