Except for the fact that Bryan can only cash in on the world champion. with the Supershows Miz or Punk could become world champ

They barely bring that title rule up anyway. Hell, the original Money in the Bank contract was supposed to only be for the World title. They said as much during the draft even as a reason why Edge needed to dread the idea of changing shows.

A heel Orton against a babyface Bryan? A major star who consistently gets huge pops is expected to be booed against a midcarder who regularly comes out to dead silence? There are people genuinely trying to suggest that this is a plausible scenario? For Wrestlemania? That's not speculation. That's not even smarkbait. That's the imbecilic ravings of a deranged mind. top stars bullying lesser guys is a frequent way to turn.

why not Taker/Sheamus, Bryan (heel)/Orton and Henry/Christian (face) ? I really like that idea. Thats 3 really solid main events from the Smackdown side alone. Hell id even take a Orton vs Christian Mania match (yes i know they have had a lot of matches together, but it could be built up like the final confrontation) and Bryan/Henry WHT, and keep Sheamus/Taker. I think we may have a supercard on our hands for this years Mania (and thats even without taking into account potenential returns of Jericho, Foley etc)

what made WM3 so great was it had Hogan vs Andre for the entertainment fans and Steamboat vs Savage for the wrestling fans. So for this we already have the entertainment draw with Rock vs Cena so we need something to draw in the wrestling fans. Yeah, that's a better way of putting it. I wasn't saying that they should put, say, Tyler Reks vs. Primo on Wrestlemania, but when you have your marquee that's going to draw 3/4 of the buys, you need to try to come up with matches to attract the other 1/4 and maybe pull in people who might not buy it otherwise. Orton doesn't really appeal to a different crowd than Cena, if reactions are to be believed. Punk did, which is why ratings were up during his big angle (at least for his segments). If you book a show solely for the 3/4 crowd, you're going to have buy rates that reflect that 3/4 crowd. You can afford to mix it up and try to get more people interested when you already have a marquee match up like Rock vs. Cena. You don't fill the rest of the card with NXT guys or anything, but you can afford to try something different.

Bryan just isn't World Champion material right now and Sheamus is a guy who could become a huge mainevent face for a long time. I just don't see that in Bryan. OK this is as good a place as any... Thia is how I'd book it. Marke henry keeps the belt, or loses it on a fluke while remaining strong and wins it back. By the rumble it looks like Mark may never drop it again. Seamus wins the Rumble and demands Henry at mania. Bryan also demands Henry at Mania. Teddy sets the Tripple threat match. At the PPV before Mania Bryan is jumped. The next SD a teary Bryan Cuts a promo pulling out of Mania due to injur but promises to be back. Teddy replaces Bryan with Orton. A month of Senanigans and tag team matches ensue. Mania, after a brutal, brutal, bruuuutal 3 way dance a bruised nd bloody Shamus pins Henry to win the title. In the middle of the pyro and confetti filled celebration Bryan runs in and Pearl Harbors Shamus cashes in and pins Seamus. He grabs a mic and says "I toldy you idiots I'd cash it in at Mania" and walks off with the belt setting up a Shamus/Bryan feud.

I would honestly prefer Daniel Bryan vs. Mark Henry over any of the options they're considering. How is that not marketable? There's still 5 months to keep establishing Henry as a monster and then you've got the classic David vs. Goliath storyline. I don't get it?

If i was the booker I'd startn building up Bryan at Survivor Series and keep him strong going into Mania against Henry.
Henry as the Vader-esque monster VS Bryan for the WT at Mania is a great idea.

Daniel Bryan/Christian be a better fit. I agree with many people on here he will not get cheered over Orton. Even if Orton burned down his house and slept with his mother he still be cheered over Bryan.

Keep Henry as the champ til Mania and build up Bryan slowly and credibly until then. Make it compelling. Make Bryan's gimmick more interesting. Then have him make Henry tap out after Henry has run over the entire roster. If Sheamus takes thatspot, I will no longer be a Sheamus fan, simple as.

i keep think Bryan's going to turn heel over his losing ways of late and finally snap. then you have face Ortan vs. heel Bryan. Henry/Orton is starting to reach Orton/Christian levels of "how many times can they do this?". Sheamus/Henry sounds best of what was mentioned. heel Bryan vs. Orton second. Christian i don't see still being considered a major threat by Wrestlemania at this rate.
face Bryan/Henry would make a good David and Goliath story like everyone has said and the thought of Cole's head exploding at the idea that the Vegan nerd beat the guy who took out every big name in the WWE in the past six months or so would be classic. but it doesn;t sound like there's a lot of support for this option.
