Interesting... I thought the US was super sensitive about "respecting the flag". Sure the public would have your ass but the cops would never arrest you over it.

What the hell is it with wrestlers in the last 24 hours. Between this and Io Shirai and NOSAWA getting busted for trying to smuggle gypsy salad into Japan it's like everyone's gone completely stupid. Do......I want to google what gypsy salad is?

Poor Jericho, his return keeps getting sabotaged.
If only he won the royal rumble instead of Cena v2.0

Oh WWE when will you learn, grab Otunga and force him to study the local laws and customs of whatever country you are touring in, then you can provide a handy newsletter for your wrestlers. If they’re getting in trouble in places like Brazil and Germany they need to learn their lesson before they continue expanding into China and Middle Eastern countries or they could end up with a much more serious incident. Interesting... I thought the US was super sensitive about "respecting the flag". Sure the public would have your ass but the cops would never arrest you over it. Isn't that covered by freedom of speech part of the constitution? If so most other countries have a much lower threshold on what constitutes freedom of speech and what's illegal/a public nuisance/inciting____ etc.

Interesting... I thought the US was super sensitive about "respecting the flag". Sure the public would have your ass but the cops would never arrest you over it. Ehhh that's not exactly true. Technically under the law you are allowed to do whatever you want with the flag but people still get arrested from time to time for it anyway. At that point it is basically an illegal arrest but good luck telling the cop with the mace that.

I don't remember too much backlash from the Unamericans angle, where the flag was waved upside down for months, and they even threatened to burn the flag in New York City.

Considering that Brazilian fans will chant death threats to people they don't like just for the fact that those people aren't Brazilian, it's not that surprising. Still, it is pretty silly. THEY THOUGHT IT WAS A HORSE!!!! AND NOW THEY HAVE COMPUTERS?

He'll be back when Fozzy's done touring.

After the JBL incident, it wouldn't have taken a genius to have decided it was worth checking the laws in terms of ways that wrestlers get cheap heat. That said, they've probably used this as a way of winning some good publicity in Brazil, while writing Jericho out for the summer.
