So, with Punk in a non-title match at Survivor Series, does that almost guarantee that he'll make it at least to TLC? And he'll probably retain against Ryback in a TLC match there. After he got through last night there's no chance he isn't dropping it to Rock at the Rumble.

Unless they decide to have him lose it before then, which I doubt...or on the next night on Raw (which I also doubt). So yeah, Punk's on the fast track to possibly dethroning Cena's longest WWE Title reign.

So with Punk being in a 5 on 5 match, that means NO Title match.
So Punk's reign, if he makes it to TLC will get to 392 DAYS!
Which will allow him to surpass Cena's 2006-07 run at 380 days.

I think he'll lose Survivor Series after Ryback single handedly eliminates the last 3 competitors, Punk being the last. TLC becomes a 3 way match with Ryback and Cena, with Punk squeaking out a win there. That at least covers him until the Rumble.

I can see that being the case and Ryback and Cena run off to the Rumble match itself.

If they go with Punk/Rock at the Rumble, I'd like to see Punk retain and then Rock insert himself into the Royal Rumble match and win. No. Sweet mother of god, no.

And that is exactly why I believe he will drop it at Mania to whoever wins the Rumble. That's my point, he's NOT going into Mania with the title. Rock is winning at the Rumble to set up Rock/Cena at Mania for the belt have you proof to back up this certainty? x

And he has tied Diesel's title run at 358 days.
It would be funny if Nash shows up tonight and costs him the title again.

Won't the Raw after Survivor Series (next week 19th November episode) be 1 day off a full year, if I am correct? I would like him to defend it on that show also after retaining at Survivor Series. Might as well make it as dramatic as possible, making him defend it twice in two days before he makes the year milestone at 20th November (which I believe he should. At least let him hold it till Rumble IMO)
Hopefully 'e will remember these dates and know that 19th November Raw is also just as significant for Punk as Survivor Series is. He should have been holding it since he defeated he defeated Cena at MITB/Summerslam 2011, as some of you may know I am not a fan of Del Rio anyway but his WWE Championship reigns (Summerslam-NOC/HITCH-Survivor Seires) annoy me. Why they did the hot potato between Cena and Del Rio from Summerslam to Survivor Series, while Punk was doing the meaningless HHH/Nash feud is beyond me.

Yep so his year long anniversary falls on the same night as Smackdown! Doubt he'll get a celebration thingee after the show since he's a heel and all.

I just realized, you have Bob Backlund's title reigns listed wrong. If we're recognizing the title changes with his match with Inoki, and Valentine, then it's 3 separate reigns at 763, 672, and 648 days. If not, it's 1 reign at 2135 days.

Punk losing right before breaking Cena's reign would be lol worthy. And very entertaining to see for the reactions.

Was not Hogan's second reign 364 days (WM 5 on April 2, 1989 to WM 6 on April 1, 1990)? It's going to be irrelevant in a week, but was surprised that was not included on the list of length reigns.

Personally, I count Inoki, but not Valentine. The title was never relinquished, it was simply a rematch with the title on the line again. Bob was champ during the interim. Dazed refs making mistakes don't equal title changes.

It's from Wikipedia, so I just pretty much copied that. And well folks, it's official, he's now passed Mr. Kevin Nash, Big Daddy Cool Diesel himself, now at 359 days and counting.
