Glad I wasn't the only one who found it weird he picked a book he knew was shit.
Just got the latest Transformers: Robots in Disguise. Was hella cool to see some earlier plot threads *Everything Shockwave pretty much* picked up on again and Optim- I mean Orion Pax is getting back to being interesting again.

I broke my New52 rule and read all 10 issues of Justice League International. I can see why it's getting cancelled. I usually really like Dan Jurgens, but he just fails across the board here. I don't know if it's because of editorial mandate or what, but it was just a poor book, there was no introduction for the new characters, no attempt made to draw in new readers, they killed off a character randomly, disabled all but one of the females on the team and then just made everyone else look weak and rubbish. Just bad. New 52 rule back on. Want to try a new 52 book Try JLI and not Animan or Swamp Thing I shiggy higgy diggy As I said, I flicked through some Animal Man and didn't like the art. Or his 5yr old daughter being better at being Animal Man than he is. If you want me to read Animal Man, show me how cool he is, not how cool his daughter is, and will be. But I'm aware it's very well received, just not by me in that instance And, again, I didn't know it (JLI) was bad, great books get cancelled all the time. I like Booster Gold and I like Dan Jurgens. But that book didn't work.

Yeah, I don't know why people don't like the Court of the Owls arc, I have really enjoyed it. I mean, it's made me into a loyal Bat-reader which I never was before.
Also, has anyone heard about the First X-Men 5 part miniseries that Neal Adams is doing?

"Shadowy secret society stalks the Bat to try to destroy Gotham." Freaking YAWN! Give me Joker, Two-Face, Mr. Freeze, pretty much ANY villain, but stop with the "Shadowy secret society" arcs unless it's the OG in that group, the League of Assassins.

Anyone reading the latest Incredible Hulk run? Anyone wanna explain to me what the hell is going on? Cause I don't have the slightest idea what's happening. Long story, short: {Spoiler} Dr Doom separated Hulk and Banner. Banner went crazy, while Hulk was living the solo life. Eventually, their paths crossed as CrazyBanner sent gamma mutated beasts after Hulk, goading him into a fight. Third parties wanted Banner out of the way, and to manipulate Hulk, but it just came down to Banner and Hulk fighting.
Eventually, Banner detonated a bomb that incinerated him in Hulk's arms. Hulk thought he was dead, but eventually, after having sex with Red She-Hulk in the middle of the street, he came so hard that he relaxed and reverted into Banner, still crazy. So apparently, when Banner was incinerated, Hulk absorbed him.
Anyway, now the arc is called Stay Angry, and in a reverse of the character's inception, Hulk needs to stay angry and big/green in order to prevent the mad scientist from coming out. Each story starts and ends with Hulk becoming cognizent of his surroundings (different every time, last issue he was in Atlantis with a giant scar on his chest, this issue he's floating in space with no helmet).

So, I caught up with Batman after everyone told me it was so great yesterday and in terms of it's writing and art, it is really good. The story is well written and I like the psychological elements getting a lot of time.
Unfortunately, issue 10, no. Too much for me. If it's the truth, and not just a mad man ranting, it's just a stupid reveal.
Spanky's right, this is Snyder writing Morrison with less pretension.

As a DC (fanboy) can any Marvel fans recommend me any titles i should be adding to my pulllist?
I had a read of my friends Amazing Spiderman last week and didn't think too much of it. Though Deadpool was pretty good way better than what DC are doing with Deathstroke even if i do like Lobo.
I've heard good things about Waid's Daredevil but is it easy for someone who doesn't read Marvel to get into?

What sort of superhero stories do you like?
If you don't know many Marvel heroes, give us DC titles you love and we'll try to give you the Marvel alternative
