Queen and The Beatles, possibly the two most influencing four man English rock bands, hell maybe of ALL rock bands. Who rocked the most?
The Beatles (1960-1970) made up by John Lennon ( rhythm guitar 1940-1980), Paul McCartney(bass guitar1942-), George Harrison (lead guitar 1943-2001), and Ringo Starr (drums 1940-) had numerous singles such as "Come Together", "All You Need Is Love", "I Am the Walrus", "Hard Day's Night", and "Strawberry Fields Forever"
or Queen (1971-) which consistent of Freddie Mercury (lead vocals and piano 1946-1991), Brian May (guitar 1947-), Roger Taylor ( drums 1949-), and John Deacon (bass guitar 1951-) who had hits like "Bohemian Rhapsody", "We Will Rock You", "We Are The Champions", "Princes of the Universe" and "Under Pressure" with David Bowie?

Well anyone who knows me knows that I'm going to say Queen.
I'm a fan of The Beatles and acknowledge the influence they had over popular music of all forms, but I feel Queen took what they learned from them (Queen has stated that The Beatles were their "bible" early on) and did it better. As songwriters, Lennon/McCartney are legendary, but Queen has the honor of being the only band where each member has written a #1 song, so I'd give the slight edge to Queen. As performers and singers, Freddie Mercury alone wins it for Queen.

Me personally, Queen, but I can acknowledge that it's VERY open to debate.

Love the Beatles, but Queen's one of my favorite bands ever. Gotta give it to them.

Queen.
As historical figures and influences on music as a genre, the Beatles are legendary, but I can't help but think, when being made to listen to them, that a lot of people listen because of that pedigree rather than because they are any good. I dislike McCartney's singing voice, the music is very sixties dated and I just don't like them.
Give me Queen any day. They could do everything from camp rock to serious ballads. Plus Mercury was a legend.

Plus Mercury was a legend. This is how I feel about The Beatles too. While they have a collection of very good and listenable music, the majority of their songs sound dated, and I end up skipping to the next song half-way through. Again, their legendary over the groundwork they've created for future artists and bands, and no one can take away their success and impact, but are they timeless? Somewhat no. Queen I can listen to all day. They still sound fresh, polished, not dated. Some of their songs have crossed the threshold from popular music fans to the public conscience (We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions). They were much ahead of their time.

Are you asking just on their rocking ability? Then Queen wins but The Beatles are still the overall better songwriters and the much more influential group.

The question stated:
Not who is most influential, not who you liked the most, not who are the best writers. WHO ROCKED THE MOST!
QUEEN rocked more than anyone. Freddy still does.
The Beatles Popped the most.

To me comparing The Beatles to Queen is like comparing a t bone steak to a can of dog food. Not even the same league.

I think Queen is great, but the Beatles are one of the few times in life where something seems to get heaploads of praise to the point you think they HAVE to be overrated yet still they arent.

Queen has about 5 songs really like.
I listened to the entire Beatles anthology and pretty much loved all of it.
Anyone who thinks the Beatles didn't rock clearly didn't listen to the Beatles. Helter Skelter, I Want You, Revolution.. etc
