Since December 2 Dismember seems to be held as the standard of the worst post-Attitude Era PPV, what would we agree is the worst one that we've had since? So basically that's about five years worth of material to choose from.
Maybe it's just the guest hosts have tainted my memories of 2009 and dragged on into early 2010, but it seems like there were an awful lot of PPVs in that period that were if not bad, terrifyingly forgettable.
Off the top of my head I can't think of anything that sticks out as visibly badly as Victory Road '09 or D2D, but I'm sure other people can.

There luckily hasn't been one that was a disaster like D2D, at the worst some PPVs were just very forgettable. But if I had to choose one... I'd go with Unforgiven 2007.
- The roster was depleted due to suspensions/injuries. - The WWE title match ended with a DQ. - A lacking main event of Undertaker vs. Mark Henry. - No memorable matches.

Benoit vs. Punk is the only thing that could have saved Vengeance: Night of Champions from being a dull, forgettable event.

Capitol Punishment was really bad (A house show finish for the PPV main event).

Over the Limit 2010 got crapped on pretty hard. From what I hear, every match save for Punk/Mysterio was painfully average, and Edge and Orton got cut short because Orton dislocated his shoulder (STUPID STUPID STUPID).

I don't get many PPVs so I'm gonna just go ahead and say WrestleMania 25. Matches were short and average, a 15 minute Kid Rock concert, a disaster of a Divas battle Royal, painfully slow WWE and WHC matches. Could have been the worst ever if it was not for Undertaker/Shawn.

Wrestlemania 27.
Nothing memorable whatsoever (Cody/Rey and Punk/Orton were good, not great), a terrible match with no positive outcome that went on for FAR too long, (Cole/Lawler), an overrated affair ('Taker/HHH), and a AWFUL main event that with the exception of the video packages really did nothing, and ended on a double count-out before being restarted. The main event of friggin' WRESTLEMANIA ended on a double count-out, think about that.
Not to mention, it was only to shove The Rock down our throats again. Hell, it was only for the fact to plug NEXT YEAR's show. He did a 20-minute opening promo that could've been for something like, oh I don't know...Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus.
And it was also Edge's last match ever, and it was the opener against Alberto Del Rio. The first and only time so far that a World title match opened up WM.
F*** this show.

Capitol Punishment as a show in some ways might not be that bad. I enjoyed a few of the matches but it brought back december to dismember level anger.

Capital Punishment is without a doubt the worst PPV of the year, but since D2D? Far from. The show actually wasn't too bad until they had "Obama" come out to address the crowd followed by a slow, sloppy, main event with a predictable ending.

I don't know that I actually think that it's the worst, but Capitol Punishment deserves a special place in Hell for that show killing Fake Obama segment.

I don't order many PPVs but this year's Wrestlemania was one of the worst. The undercard matches were solid but too many Rock promos and and a disappointing main event killed it for me.

And it just so happens that the only two PPV's I've been to were December to Dismember and Wrestlemania 27. FML

Wrestlemania 27 for all the reasons mentioned.
And the worst part, is that it was a WRESTLEMANIA. That automatically sets the bar way up. I don't even know how that show was allowed to happen. Yeah, there have been bad WMs in the past, but it felt like before they always at least attempted a good show. It feels like they just used The Rock as a crutch and didn't even care about the show.
