Does anyone else think: D-Bry will win the steel cage match next week. Be crowned champion. Stripped/forfeit the MITB briefcase. The briefcase is then put on the line at the next PPV... Which is conveniently themed - TLC. Interesting. I like it. Even though I don't know if I can see Bryan (although I'd love the hell out of it) winning next week, I think you make an interesting point about MITB. Maybe some sort of shenanigans ensue and Bryan puts his MITB case on the line against Barrett, Rhodes, or both.

What I'm predicting is somehow Bryan wins the title (recycling the St. Valentines Day Massacre cage match ending, perhaps) loses to Show at TLC, later turns heel leading to Show/Bryan at 'Mania.

He faces Mark Henry next week on a Live Smackdown for the title in a steel cage match. The winner of that faces Big Show at TLC. Shouldn't it be the other way around, though? Face Big Show first for the right to fight Henry for the title? Actually, that would be kind of convoluted: I'm gonna put you in a match, to earn the right to be in another match, to earn the opportunity to be in a title match with an injured man? That's a whole lot of unnecessary hoops to jump through.

It doesn't make sense for Bryan to face Henry, get the belt from him, and then face the last number one contender for the championship he now has.

Which is conveniently themed - TLC. Now THAT'S how you do a live SmackDown! If you're gonna do something big like that, at least do it live! Also, It'd be a very interesting way of handling things, particularly because it sort of throws everything off; and I mean in a good way, in that with the whole "Bryan will cash in at WrestleMania" thing no longer an option, people are guessing again. Right, a Live Smackdown is the perfect place for a cool title change, inside a cage. Bryan winning the title by earning his shot & then beating the champ should make the IWC happy, (somehow it won't). Giving the MITB briefcase to someone else allows for new options to play out. I know a lot off ppl here won't like this, but I don't see the WWE putting D-Bry in the title match at Mania. I just don't see it happening. I was never privy to his indy work, but I have really become a big fan of D-Bry, but he's never even been on a Mania broadcast, so I don't see him being in one of the Main Events this year. But, I do like the idea of D-Bry earning his title the hard way, whether it happens on a special Live Smackdown or a PPV.

"Nevermind, lets not do that"

Daniel Bryan won a match that involved Randy Orton as one of his opponents. Mind = blown.

What makes me sad is how empty the arena looks. Vince: "Clearly he doesn't draw as a champion."

What the? Why would WINNING without having to use the briefcase means he forfeits? I don't even.

Taping "children's programming" on school nights is silly, especially since it's the b-show.

Yeah I don't get it. In fact when Show layed out Henry at the PPV I thought then would be a good time for Bryan to cash in. Either way it will be tough to keep him babyface if he cashes in early and rips someone off and goes back on his word.

It just doesn't make sense for him to cash in on himself... as funny as that could be... it would never happen. Plus we're talking about a briefcase that is evidently governed by Teddy Long, playa, so you know he's taking the briefcase away from D-Bry, if D-Bry wins the title next week. So they can have a MITB ladder match at TLC, and the Barrett Barrage can win the briefcase.

I have an idea....what if he win the World Championship then crash the briefcase on C.M. Punk for the WWE Championship leading to a feud between the two?
