Playing TEW, I've just completed the second season of my created promotion, the International Wrestling League. A league of 20 wrestlers from 13 nations compete once weekly, facing each other twice a season for a total of 38 matches each. 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw (double DQ, double count-out, 20 minute time limit). The top 8 go into a one night knockout tournament with the winner becoming the International Wrestling League Champion. In the first season, the 3 wrestlers finishing at the bottom of the table were 'relegated'. 5 managers represent 4 wrestlers each, with the manager amassing the most points wins their own league. In the first season the last placed manager was 'relegated'. The 2007-8 winner was Claudio Castagnoli, defeating Giant Bernard in the final. His manager, Ted DiBiase, also won the Managers Championship. 2008-9 saw Brent Albright best inaugural champion Claudio Castagnoli in the Championship match, his manager Kelly Adams continuing the trend by being declared Managers Champion.
I also ran a World Cup tournament in the summer of 2008, with Team USA victorious. The team consisted of IWL roster member Rocky Romero, with special guests Chris Hero, and for the first half of the tournament, Bryan Danielson. Danielson was injured during a World Cup match and for the second half was replaced by IWL's Brent Albright. They defeated Team TNA's Rhino and the Motor City Machine Guns in the final.
This summer I plan on running a 32 man tournament featuring the 32 participants in the upcoming third season, run over 4 nights the tournament is called Ringmaster. The league will be expanding to accomodate the growth of the promotion (on the verge of moving from regional to cult and getting a PPV deal), and will be similarly structured to the NFL. The points sytem will remain in place, with the wrestlers split into 8 groups of 4. These groups will represent the managers' clients. Everyone will wrestle each other once, and their own group 'rivals' an additional time, for a total of 34 matches each. The 8 group winners and the 4 best runners up will go into the playoff tournament.
As you can tell there's a lot of organisation and planning goes into the game, but it makes it very rewarding.

Started off playing TEW 05 again. Decided I'd start my own company (World Wrestling Corporation), did a little pre-game editing to give me some extra money and add ten big stars to my, at that point empty roster (I chose: Lesnar, Christian, Aries, Bryan, Punk, Styles, Joe, Roode, Lita (as an active wrestler) and Trish (as an active wrestler)). Then I figured I'd just sign some indy guys to fill the roster. I'm running one show a week (plus house shows) and one big show at the start of every month. So it's essentially like a TV and PPV schedule only without TV or PPV.
Anyway, started off my World Title scenario with an 8-Man Tournament, one QF main evented each weekly show (Aries beat Strong; Punk beat Hero; Joe beat Roode; Christian beat Styles by cheating). Then I had the two sem-finals open the month's big show: Joe beat Punk, Christian cheated (again) to beat Aries. That led to a main event between Joe and Christian. Loads of heels intervened on Christian's behalf, Joe's friends turned up to even the odds and it ended in a no contest. I had my authority figure on the weekly show determine that at the next monthly show Joe and Christian would fight inside HIAC for the World Title. Pretty standard build-up to it. Joe beat Christian after a grueling match (that got an A* rating). Post-match I debuted mega-heel Brock Lesnar who decimated Joe and the two will fight at the next monthly show.
As for everything else, my tag division (Aries and Bryan vs. Steenerico currently) and midcard (Roode vs. Punk over the TV Title) are strong but despite having the best and most popular female talent around (Lita, Trish, Kong, Del Rey, Melissa, Britani Knight etc.) they drag my ratings down on every show.
In other interesting news, me stealing Aries, Styles, Joe and Roode really hurt TNA. They've lost both their TV and PPV deals. Also Elimination Chamber brought a whopping million plus buys for WWE but Wrestlemania could only bring in 600,000+.

So, decided to try a split game and take over Raw. Not bad so far, with CM Punk taking on Chris Jericho for the title (because, c'mon, that's money) and Daniel Bryan searching for a partner after The Briscoe Brothers injured Kane (the dreaded 16 month knee injury). The TV Title came back as Mike Hennig won a tournament. Cesaro is still dominating as US Champ, although Jack Swagger is gunning for the title. The women's division is on hold for now as a lot of the females have to go through the development camp.
My DGUSA game has gotten interesting. The Board of Directors retired, leaving WWE in disarray until being taken over by Rick Bassman. Several superstars quit, jumping ship to DG. This led to The Undertaker vs. The Great Muta in a battle for the ages, which Muta won. Both men shook hands afterwards and retired at the end of the month (hence the big battle). Before he left, Muta passed the torch onto company ace Naruki Doi. Undertaker passed the torch to Jon Moxley, who is quickly establishing himself as the number one heel.
The company actually grew to the point of a roster split being needed, DGUSA and EVOLVE. The biggest concern is Delirious, a DGUSA wrestler, refusing to relinquish the EVO World Title. Cody Rhodes, John Morrison, and even Kevin Steen have tried to take the EVO Title, but Delirious has emerged victorious every time.

Well, since two tag teams were ruined by drug use, why not three? Sin Cara checked himself into rehab without even asking first. He's one half of the tag-team champions. What the hell is up with my tag-teams? I'm thinking about downloading the editor, making him job, and THEN sending his ass back to rehab.

I'm unashamedly stealing the RUN NXT angle from this board, and making it a battle to see who controls the brand out of Heel GM Matt Striker and Face Usurper Byron Saxton. THE TEAMS: RUN NXT: JTG, Michael McGillicutty and Mojo Rawley Team Saxton: Saxton, British Ambition, and Ezekiel Jackson

I finally got it! I'm putting my EWR games in Spreadsheet so I can keep them organized. I wanted to start a BFG series, and now, I have a sheet formated just for a Bound for Glory series. It's somewhat easy to do, but I want to use Spreadsheet as much as possible before heading back to work, so it's good practise.
My series is also injury/rehab/not showing up for photoshoot proof, as if one person has to be out of the game, then the remaining opponents get a 4 point forfeit bonus.

I'm also doing a potentially comedic "Brad Maddox vs. The World" angle, in which RAW GM Dusty Rhodes gives Maddox an ultimatum; win a match within one month, and you get your contract. Cue Maddox losing ridiculous match after ridiculous match until he scores a fluke win.

I booked AJ vs Kaitlyn in a First Blood match. AJ wins thanks to Lita. Trish saves Kaitlyn from the 2vs1 beating. Overall Rating: 82% Next day, USA Network cancels Raw.

This could be a weird question but has anyone successfully booked a buck naked match? I'm not ashamed to admit I've tried, just out of curiosity. Never been able to do it. All the women call me a sicko. Same here. As it stands now, I'm building to WM21, with Benoit vs. Orton for the WWE Championship as the ME along with Christian vs. Jeff Hardy for the WHC. Mark Briscoe and Sean Waltman will be coming to WWE in April. I also now have achieved 17 5star matches, the most recent being a ladder match between the World's Greatest Tag Team and London And Kendrick for the WWE Tag Team Championships. London And Kendrick retained, and I now have a surefire feud after WM.
