Well I wouldn't be surprised if they cut Herman now.

Bonnar pulling out all the stops for his final fight, I suppose.
Herman being high might actually explain the strategy he used during his fight. I'd be amazed if he gets another UFC fight.

Demetrious Johnson vs. John Dodson for the Flyweight Championship, Rampage vs. Glover Teixeira, and Donald Cerrone vs. Anthony Pettis are set for UFC on Fox 6 on January 26 in Chicago.

For what deterrent it will be, Stephan Bonnar has been suspended for one year.

Glover better be able to finish Rampage quickly or that's likely to be a boring fight since I bet Rampage will phone it in and do next to nothing because a) he has no motivation other than to get this over with so he can leave the UFC, and 2) he doesn't want his face to end up in a million pieces.

Demetrious Johnson vs. John Dodson for the Flyweight Championship, Rampage vs. Glover Teixeira, and Donald Cerrone vs. Anthony Pettis are set for UFC on Fox 6 on January 26 in Chicago. Clay Guida vs. Hatsu Hioki, Erik Koch vs. Ricardo Lamas, Mike Russow vs. Shawn Jordan and T.J. Grant vs. Matt Wiman have been added to this card as well. This is shaping up to be a very nice Fox card. I wonder what the 4th fight on the main card would be. I would think Guida/Hioki, but after his last fight with Maynard, I wouldn't be surprised if Guida gets demoted by Dana.

UFC has their first female fighter: Ronda Rousey just made MMA history ... becoming the very first female fighter to join the UFC ... TMZ has learned. Rousey -- a former U.S. Olympian -- has officially joined Dana White's MMA organization ... and automatically becomes the 135 lb women's champion. We're told 25-year-old Ronda will defend her title in 2013 -- possible opponents include Sara McMann, Cris Cyborg and rival Miesha Tate. Rousey has been fighting in Strikeforce since last year and emerged as a superstar ... beating the living crap out of just about everybody she's faced. In fact, she's undefeated. And there's more ... sources say Strikeforce, which airs on Showtime, will be running its last event in January before folding up shop for good. A rep for Strikeforce had no comment. Was just coming to post this! Very interested in hearing some official word from Dana and Co. Not sure if I care to see women in UFC, but I'll give it a shot if true. As far as Strikeforce is concerned: about damn time, the Zuffa purchase was the worst thing to happen to it.

I have no interest in ordering a single Ronda Rousey fight.
There's no demand for women MMA, there's just a star in MMA that happens to be a woman. No one is like "Oh I want to buy this women's card" they're like "I want to watch Ronda Rousey." But for me I don't see the appeal since all of her fights end the same way and usually in a minute only.

Was only a matter of time. Zuffa is in love with Ronda Rousey.

Anyone watch UFC on Fuel? {Spoiler}Rich Franklin got KTFO by Cung Le in the first round of the main event and Thiago Silva had the only other finish with a 3rd round sub on Stanislav Nedkov.
OK event, Cung Le's KO was the obvious knockout.

Sucks to be Rich these days. I was a big fan of him during his prime. I've met him to and he's a really nice guy.

Would have been nice to not have the fight spoiled when I checked sherdog to see what channel it was on, but good lord, that was Liddell Knockout worthy.

I went to bed thinking that Franklin was going to get a UD over Le but damm that was almost like when Rich knocked out Nate Quarry in reverse.

They were supposed to fight back in the Strikeforce Grand Prix. Should be a good fight that Overeem most likely wins so he can get the title shot UFC badly wants him to have.
