So the horrifically bad season of TUF has achieved "cherry on top" status with the announcement that Shane Carwin has blown out his knee and the Finale Bout between coaches is now cancelled, with a search starting for a replacement to face Nelson. Considering his age and growing list of injuries, one can't help but wonder if we'll ever see Carwin in the Octagon again at all.
This season of TUF has been something, eh?

I say they bring in that guy that Batista fought.

Yay! It's knee injury-palooza!
I do find Shane pulling out kind of funny considering how bad the season has been and that there's most likely no one from the show fighting on the finale other then the finalists. Might as well have one of the coaches not make it either.

I truly believe that they should replace the booze in the house with one of those isolation chambers that Joe Rogan and Gegard Mousasi have.

Gilbert Melendez is still injured and won't be competing at Strikeforce's final show on January.
Also the Nick Ring-Costa Philippou fight is off tonight's card and Bocek vs. Dos Anjos is now on the main card.

I'm not sure if we're missing out on a lot with Ring vs Philippou off the card. I don't know these two guys all that much. Can't wait to get to the Bell Centre anyhow.

Was on Twitter and noticed this:
Cheick Kongo @kongo4real By the way I did NOT REFUSE TO FIGHT Roy Nelson . I REFUSED to TAKE A FIGHT on SHORT NOTICE . Which is NOT THE SAME AT ALL .
Which was then quickly deleted...but only for a moment before this showed up:
Cheick Kongo @kongo4real I did NOT REFUSE to FIGHT Roy Nelson . I REFUSED to TAKE A FIGHT on SHORT NOTICE . Which is NOT THE SAME AT ALL. @danawhite @ufc
So...directly sending the message. War Kongo, I suppose.

Some guys just don't like fighting on such short notice without some time to prepare. That's their prerogative. It doesn't make them "P******" or "Dodgers", it's just how they operate.

Considering what happened to Kongo the last time he took a fight on short notice I don't see how anyone can blame him for turning down the Nelson fight.

Hey, everyone. I know you won't believe this but a fight has had to be changed due to injury.
Bryan Caraway is out of his UFC on Fox 5 bout with Mike Easton, being replaced by Raphael Assuncao. Assuncao v. Easton.

Thiago Silva has tested positive for for marijuana metabolites and as a result his victory against Stanislav Nedkov has been changed to a no-contest and will be suspended for 6 months.
Also Chris Weidman is now out of his UFC 155 bout against Tim Boetsch and will be replaced by Costa Philippou.

The turkey was injured yesterday and was pulled off of the Thanksgiving main event. It was replaced by a giant meatball sub.

Jones didn't wanted to eat the turkey at first because they were friends but then decided to fight him because of the turkey trashing talking him before dinner. Sonnen, however, decided to cook it but just for an hour, leaving him with some raw parts here and there but he insists in saying that turkey is the best ever cooked.

Lavar Johnson is out of his UFC on Fox 5 bout against Brendan Schaub with a pulled groin.

Damm I was hoping to see if Schaub would get knocked out for the third time in a row.
