Yep, I'm done with Matt. He wants attention so damn bad, so I won't succumb to his needs. To think, when I got into wrestling back in 1999 I was such a huge fan of his...

I'm going to bed. Hopefully this stays a hoax, because good Lord, the world does not need more dead wrestlers.
I'll wait to be mad at him until I'm positive it stays a hoax.

BTW, I hope everyone is going to unfollow Matt after this. Joking about killing yourself is about as low as it gets. It will be funny to see how many diehard Hardy fans will try to defend his actions. And by funny, I mean pathetic.

Here's the problem, though: It's YouTube and Twitter. There's too much ambiguity involved to make a judgment call about his state of mind. If there's even a shred of debate over how the video can be interpreted, then he can't be committed. If police respond and they see he's exhibiting abnormal behavior, the judgment call can be made that he's a danger to himself or others. Oh, absolutely, but I don't think posting that video is evidence enough of that.

They can interview him, and if they see he's on something or giving what they feel are cryptic messages, that could be the evidence they need.

The cops shoulda hauled his ass to the pokey for wasting their time. At least let him spend the night in lock-up.

Could he say to the cops that he was simply referencing to something else... doing promotion, the cops say "oh, that's okay then... don't do it again", and that's that?

Oh, absolutely, but I don't think posting that video is evidence enough of that. It's not really a court proceeding, you don't have to go beyond a reasonable doubt. If you think someone might actually be serious about it, then police often do take someone in for observation. At least, that's the way it worked when I was a crime reporter not that long ago. That video was clearly intended to look like a suicide note. so that alone would be enough if they thought he looked serious in any way.

Matt Hardy may be the first person to get himself blackballed from the industry without
a) being a backstage pain-in-the-ass (and even Teddy Hart still gets work) b) killing someone (and the guy who killed Bruiser Brody still got work) c) no-showing an event d) showing up at an event in no condition to perform e) doing a bunch of shoots burying his former employers
And that, my friends, is saying something. Especially in this business.

One theory I saw elsewhere, that will probably be where this goes, is he's going to try to explain it by saying MATTHEW's gone and now he's just plain Matt Hardy. Or something stupid like that.

Screw it, I'm out. I pray I won't wake up to bad news, yet won't be surprised if I do. Matt, what the hell happened to you? There are falls from grace and then there's what happened to you. You plummeted. Your career is shot. Your brain is shot. Just seek help, man.

If this is a hoax and a joke, I really hope Matt does get booked in at least one more match....
In Chikara, against Eddie Kingston and/or UltraMantis Black. They'll show him how funny suicide is.
