I don't know if I mentioned it in this thread yet, but I honestly have to wonder if Matt's current state has anything to do with concussions. He's not really doing anything that doesn't happen to tons of "normal" people every day. It may have something to do with concussions, or it may have something to do with drugs, it may be a mental illness, it may be a combination of things but not even Matt would know. My personal opinion is that it's stemming from depression. Maybe even going as far back as the Lita/Edge thing. That's just my theory, it holds absolutely no weight whatsoever.

The thing I find oddest about that video there, is just looking at the comments of how easily it appears his fanbase are just like " Ok Matt! f*** the haterz!" after he shit all over 'em the other night.
That's just weird.

Here is my take on the whole suicide thing. Reading the stuff that people have been posting in response to everything that had been going on prior to his suicide/not suicide note, I envision that Matt has seen a lot of negativity come his way recently. I imagine that he felt like the millions that used to cheer for him have all unfairly turned their backs on him and it probably really upset him. The thing is, I think that the lifestyle that he has been living for the last couple of decades has meant that he has not truly grown up the way that he should have. Do you remember as a child when you thought that the world was being unfair and mean towards you? What was something that we all thought? How about, "They'll all feel bad if something bad were to happen to me and they had treated me the way they have"? I honestly think that in whatever fog he had been operating under in the recent past he thought that if he teased all the people who have been telling him to just go and die of an overdose already with what they claim that they wanted it would make them all realize that they don't really hate him the way that they think that they do.
I honestly think that he thought that he would teach some people a lesson and that is why he took so long to straighten things out. I don't think it was an attempt at attention whoring. It was just a point to make the haters realize that they still care. I think the fact that his friends and family did not support his act might have actually made him realize just what he accomplished with his stunt. I don't know if that was the last straw or if it was what made him take stock in what his life has become, but regardless I think the fact that he is willing to at least admit that he has not been acting right and that drugs have played a role he just might eventually get the help that he needs.

That's just weird. Opposing "haters/haterz" is quickly becoming a way for people, particularly some celebrities, to dismiss any legitimate criticism of them

I watched the video and what I have to say is this: 1. He filled a notebook with what exactly? The names and versions of all of his 'rebirth' characters? That's the only thing he could fill an entire notebook with because he's an empty-headed douchebag. 2. He wants to start a program for suicidal/drug addicted people? He merely said that to cover his ass. 3. He was in 4 accidents? I know he hit the tree and then 'fell' inside his home. There were two more?? 4. He's retiring? The way I see it is that WWE will never let him back and TNA fired him. He has no job to officially retire from. 5. The only truth I feel he spoke in the video is that he knows a little bit about drug addiction. That is all. Preach it girlfriend! *Snap* Snap*

I have only a vague idea about what's going on... but I did just read Madison's letter to Hardy on the FAN site and just have to say one thing:
Thank you to Madison for posting that.

Is it possible that Matt Hardy staged the car accident? Just so he could get attention?

Is it possible that Matt Hardy staged the car accident? Just so he could get attention? Possible, but given he was presumably drunk, it's likely he legitimately crashed.
