Interesting how Dalek Girl seems to cut her hair and dye it green in the Christmas special preview.

Interesting how Dalek Girl seems to cut her hair and dye it green in the Christmas special preview. My personal guess is that it isn't Dalek girl but one of her relatives/ancestors

Yeah, just like Martha was a relative of the girl in the Torchwood tower and Amy was, I guess, a relative of the Roman seer, I reckon this girl will be a relative of Oswin, rather than actually Oswin.
But, could be wrong

Can someone explain: {Spoiler}How did that last Angel get Amy if both the Doctor and River were looking at it? I'm going to go with. {Spoiler}Let's assume that whatever power the Angels have to send someone back in time simply requires them to touch a person and, for want of a better term, 'think' them back in time. We know Angels are still aware even when they're stone so, even though the Doctor and River were staring right at it, because Amy backed up into the Angel's hand it was still able to zap her.
The Angel already knew the Doctor and River knew what it really was so why bother keeping up pretense?

Interesting how Dalek Girl seems to cut her hair and dye it green in the Christmas special preview. Also she hasn't dyed her hair. She's wearing a hat.

Yeah, there are a few things to remember about the Doctor's regeneration limit as far as the new series goes. 1. The regeneration limit has never been touched upon in the new series other than a joke line in the Sarah Jane Adventures. For all we know there may not even be one. It was strongly hinted that the limit was self-imposed by the Time Lord higher ups and not something natural. Not only did the Time Lords offer the Master more regenerations (in The Five Doctors) but resurrected him with what appears to be a whole new set of regenerations during the Time War. Maybe the Time Lords lifted the limit during the Time War. Maybe with them gone it no longer applies. Who knows? 2. River gave the Doctor all her regenerations to save his life in Let's Kill Hitler. Since she regenerated twice that we know of, it's possible the Doctor has as many as ten extra regenerations now. Besides, it dodn't look to me like the Doctor used the full packet of energy (as it was described in Mawdryn Dead) to heal her. As evidenced in Journey's End, a full regeneration either requires the Doctor to change or to syphon the energy into a nearby recepticle that biologically compatible. It didn't look to me like he used any more energy than it took to regrow his hand in The Christmas Invasion. whilst I understand this, it was very much a throwaway thing for him to do, it lead no where and served no purpose. River could have continued the episode with the broken wrist as she didnt do anything that required the use of it afterwards. Whilst it likely will not lead to anything at all, it was pretty weird for it to be included x

Yeah, for the most part Moff isn't the type to have things completely throwaway. I'm POSITIVE that the broken wrist fix is going to come back to haunt the Doctor somehow.

I don't know why, but suddenly I feel like River Song is going to somehow turn into the Rani at some point. Because her timeline is so f***ed up that it could still somehow work.

I like how they keep telling the Doctor that he shouldn't travel alone. It's like they're trying to keep the Doctor from becoming something that he shouldn't become, or something they don't want him to become. {Spoiler} This guy. Also, while Amy wasn't my favorite companion, I still kinda enjoyed her. And it was nice to have her show some vulnerability when Rory was sent back in time at the end. Like she actually cared about Rory, since it didn't seem like she really cared about him until about a few episodes ago.

One thing that did irk me about Rory, because I freaking love the guy(and I'll miss him greatly, Amy.....not so much), was how he was essentially the Kenny of Doctor Who, always getting killed.
He has got to have set the record for most deaths by a single character in Doctor Who that isn't a Time Lord.

So did anybody else see the Doctor Who in America special? It was an hour long behind the scenes thing about how American has been in Doctor Who, it even had a few clips from the William Hartnall years. To my surprise it also had David Tennant and John Barrowman speaking about it, and it made me realize how much I miss Captain Jack.

It made me wish BBC America would pony up the money for classic Doctor Who reruns. It would make mores sense to show that then Star trek the next generation.
