As for the CW... the Dawn Ostroff era is finally OVER, but her poisonous, one-track mind influence remains as she chose the new programming for this season, in which all three new shows join six of the seven existing programs that are around full-time in catering to solely one demographic. I predict in a few years, the CW will join MyNetwork TV and I guess someone from the CW had him killed, he never finished his sentence. Dawn Ostroff is a silent killer.

My internet window shut off after the original post and I just forgot about it all. The ending was "...the ion Network as stations that just play repeats and local broadcasting due to gross incompetence." Still, the aura of Orstoff remains on that network for one more year.

I've enjoyed what I've seen of Affion Crocket's show, but it's nowhere near Chappelle's Show. Then again, what is?
Looking forward to Pan Am and Terra Nova, but I'm betting the new Charlie's Angels will be the pits.
Oh, and BOARDWALK f***ING EMPIRE.

Fringe's fourth season will be my fall show, most likely. Also looking forward to Alcatraz. Other stuff I have no clue on if I'd have the time or will to watch them.

Here's my predictions for some of the new programs, as far as whether or not they'll be cancelled. It's just me:
ABC:
*Last Man Standing: Cancelled (if "$#!% My Dad Says" indicates, stars way past their prime don't work out, and this looks more like a vehicle just to remind people about Tim Allen) *Man Up: Cancelled (it's just lame, and will hearken back to the days where the best ABC could think of for sitcoms was "Better Off Ted") *Pan Am: Cancelled *Revenge: Cancelled (simple premise: woman wants to kill people. No merit there. Might actually be the "Lone Star" of this season)
FOX:
*New Girl: Renewed *I Hate My Teenage Daughter: Cancelled *Terra Nova: Renewed, but on limited run (I still stand by the fact that it's not feasable to make a multi-season show with this type of budget... and the writing and plotlines are very dull) *X-Factor: Renewed *The Allen Gregory Show: Unknown (when all you see are clips of Gregory sassing a teacher and telling a fellow student he can't eat with them ad nauseum, it's hard to understand)

When will In the Flow get canceled? I can't stand the show, as well, but I believe it was merely one of those "filler" programs networks like to air in the month or so before the fall season. Same with "Buried Treasure". Of course, Fox might move the show to Saturday late night with repeats of "Fringe" and whatever shows they cancelled.

Might as well go back to showing Showtime at the Apollo with Sinbad again on Saturday Night. That at least had its moments.

Anybody want to take a guess at what the rating for 2 1/2 Men is tonight? I'm guessing around 7.

Two And a Half Men scored nearly 28 million viewers last night.
Going by last night's ratings, The Playboy Club will be one of the first shows cancelled, if not the first.

Two and a Half Men did better than 7, it drew a 10.3 in the 18-to-49 demo.
Curious to see how it does next week(if it's a trend or was it because people just wanted to see how they'd write off Charlie Sheen's character?).
Playboy Club would have been better off on HBO or Showtime or even Cinemax.

Law & Order : SVU premiered tonight as they go on without Eliot Stabler. It was a good episode & featured Dr. Warner & a lot of John Munch, who was non-existent last season. Alex Cabot is back & there's a new detective too.

I'm trying, but this show isn't the same without Stabler. Sorry, I need my Chris Meloni fix. On the plus side, I did not talk about it much last year, but is there anyone out there seriously digging Hawaii Five-O as much as I am? True, it seems like half the cast of Lost cannot escape Hawaii, but the writing is good and the guest stars who show up are solid (Sean Combs, Larysa Onlink, Spike).

Yeah, BD left the show & will be on a new NBC show called Awake, which I think is debuting midseason. And yeah, I saw they demoted Tamara Tunie too & it annoyed me too. Dr Warner is a great character & should be utilized more frequently.

Dunno why NBC decided on airing it.

I'll try to stick with SVU, but I feel like the guts have just been ripped from the show. We get emo Oliva now 24-7. Goodie. Ah well, Hawaii Five-O makes it all better.

I already like Ted Danson on CSI more than Fishburn.
I'm honestly shocked that X Factor only managed 2 million more viewers than The Middle. Either the Middle is more popular than I thought or X Factor is the next in a dying breed of singing competitions.
Regarding NBC, they either need to get out of the television business or completely revamp EVERYTHING except their Thursday night block. They just can't catch a break when it comes to non-Comedy shows.
