Regarding NBC, they either need to get out of the television business or completely revamp EVERYTHING except their Thursday night block. They just can't catch a break when it comes to non-Comedy shows. Really outside of Chuck, they haven't been able to develop 1 hour shows. Chuck hasn't had the best ratings, but it's got an extremely dedicated fanbase and is well liked by critics. Heroes could have been a big show for NBC, but it tanked after season 1. USA has developed multiple shows that do good ratings on cable, but NBC can't do a damn thing.

I already like Ted Danson on CSI more than Fishburn. Haven't watched the new one yet, or the new Criminal Minds, but I was really getting into Fishbourne last year. Definitely more then I had before. Still, lookin' forward to checkin' out Danson on the show

Two and a Half Men did better than 7, it drew a 10.3 in the 18-to-49 demo. Curious to see how it does next week(if it's a trend or was it because people just wanted to see how they'd write off Charlie Sheen's character?). Playboy Club would have been better off on HBO or Showtime or even Cinemax. i would go with how they would write off sheen's character

the first episodes are always "great" but then the show is terrible not to rain on person's of interest's parade but i wouldn't be surprised if it did turn out horrible

I have to echo 2 Broke Girls. It's better than I was expecting. Kat Dennings is really funny.

I will be totally honest here: I will never give 2 Broke Girls a chance. Ever. See, my wife and I were huge fans of the short-lived mid-season replacement Chaos. We caught every episode, even when they banished it to Saturday nights. During its Saturday run, a pop-up ad for 2 Broke Girls would appear with the first 20 minutes of the show. It started small at first, but got increasingly bigger as the weeks went on. By the time the season (series) finale aired, the ad was taking up sizable portion of screen real estate. Our biggest problem with it, however, wasn't the size of the ad. It was when CBS chose to air it.
In the finale, the ODS took it upon themselves to, among other things, take down a counterfeiter who was making near-perfect $100 bills. Like all shows of this nature, the team took the time to "examine" the fake currency. The ODS saw the bills, but the audience didn't. Instead of seeing a stack of counterfeit cash, we saw the pouting faces of Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs. The ad "ended" just as the camera pulled back from the money, making it all but impossible to see it up close.
I know that that's a stupid reason to hate a show, but I stick by it.

This week, NBC should announce the cancellation of the Playboy Club. Who in their right mind would want to mix the idea of Playboy bunnies with murder mysteries? But, considering the past seven years for NBC, this isn't a surprise. I can easily point out all of the bad decisions that network has made which has led them to this point. I watched both Terra Nova (well, I was glancing around just to see the Slasher in action) and that Two and a Half Men episode. Walden Schmidt is just a big kid, and Alan is a bigger loser than before, and it's gone beyond a point that Cryor can even pull off... meaning this show might not be around anymore. As for Terra Nova... jeez, I can recognize campy writing, but that was nuts. The problem with CW is EXACTLY what I said at the beginning of this thread... you try and cater to one demographic in the past five years and you develop all sorts of horrid shows (H&R, Heart of Dixie), whaddya expect?

Since they finally released the ratings for it, the 4th season premiere of Sons of Anarchy a couple weeks back was the highest rated program in the history of the FX channel. 6.5 million total viewers, with 4.3 million in the 18-49 range.

Could've sworn CBS had standards.

I have to echo 2 Broke Girls. It's better than I was expecting. Kat Dennings is really funny. Yeah, she really is. I think it's a show that'll find a niche after another few episodes. Like I said, definate promise. Also, I think that: {Spoiler}The running total of cash saved up at the end of each episode is actually a pretty neat gimmick

Could've sworn CBS had standards. You forget that this is the same network that aired a show called "S*** My Dad Says" last year.

Law & Order : SVU premiered tonight as they go on without Eliot Stabler. It was a good episode & featured Dr. Warner & a lot of John Munch, who was non-existent last season. Alex Cabot is back & there's a new detective too. Also a new DA. It should be noted that Casey Novak will also return this season in a few episodes. Sucks about BD leaving the show though. He was awesome.
