It's Monday night, so that means it's RAW time again. Coming to you (not quite) LIVE from Birmingham, Great Britain, we are only just under 2 weeks away from Survivor Series, and we could see a lot more of the card shape up tonight.
Last week, WWE Champion CM Punk challenged the Hardcore Legend Mick Foley to a Traditional Elimination Tag Team Match at the Thanksgiving Classic, which Foley accepted. While this almost certainly ensures that Punk will pass a full year in possession of wrestling's grandest prize, Foley will not actually be in the match itself. Instead, he shall be in the corner of Ryback, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton as they strive to survive against Punk's team of five... Punk, The Miz, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow and Alberto Del Rio, with Paul Heyman in their corner. All of these rivalries have been bubbling along for weeks now, so how will things be heated up tonight?
Speaking of heated... Interim RAW General Manager (she's called something else, I know, but let's be honest... that's what she is) Vickie Guerrero seems adamant on exposing a relationship between former RAW GM AJ Lee and John Cena that may not even be there, and Money In The Bank holder Dolph Ziggler seems very happy to just help stir the pot and egg things on. Will more "evidence" be revealed tonight by Vickie? Or will someone finally call Vickie out on her conflict of interest and break the Lord Dark Helmet Theory?
It's been a rough initiation into refereeing for Brad Maddox. First was his blown call a few weeks ago, which earned the ire of Punk, then at Hell In A Cell he chose to influence the result by low-blowing Ryback and fast-counting the winning pin, paying for that in ways that only The Big Hungry could do. Tonight, he breaks his silence on the matter. Was he paid off by Punk and Heyman? Was it all on his own to try and make himself famous? Was it something else? Find out tonight.
New World Heavyweight Champion Big Show has already been scheduled to defend his title against the former champion Sheamus at Survivor Series, so expect the two big men to continue to jostle for advantage tonight. Hey, at least Big Show made it past 45 seconds this time.
With the Intercontinental and Tag Team Champions pre-occupied for Indianapolis, United States Champion Antonio Cesaro looks almost certain to defend his title against a new challenger... and given the events of last week, it could very well be former US Champ and friend to the invisible R-Truth. Will Truth call his shot tonight? Or will someone else stake a claim for the Swiss Sensation's gold?
Divas... presumably more stuff involving Eve Torres, Layla and Kaitlyn.
All that, and other stuff you'd probably already know about because of the spoilers that would be posted before the show, TONIGHT on RAW!
