I wouldnt mind them having it at the Lucas Oil Stadium at some point (which will probably be after 30 now). It looks like a beautiful stadium and the window wall they have just looks like it belons on a Wrestlemania show. It helps that im a Brit who was going to move there at one point and it did look rather nice when I visited (but I think thats just because im not used to seeing those kind of stadiums over here).
From what iv heard/looks like though both the MetLife and Cowboys Stadium both look like great locations for a Wrestlemania, and if they can make the Citrus Bowl look great 24 I can't fathom what Wrestlemania will look/be like in those two stadiums.
With all these 29 and 30 news reports going around im trying not to get ahead of myself as hopefully we will have a great Mania this year.

Awful call.

I hope the weather is on their side. At least if it rains in Florida in late March, you might not catch pneumonia.
Though immediately my mind went to the Hall of Fame. King Kong Bundy vs Bam Bam Bigelow. Both from New Jersey. Maybe they can induct Willie Gilzenberg or Toots Mondt too.

I think it's about time that Charlotte got a Wrestlemania. This. Bank of America stadium would be a great choice, and the weather in April in NC is gorgeous. NC rarely ever even gets a PPV anymore.

WM outdoors, in New York. In April? Awful call. It might not be ideal for the wrestlers (though I'm sure the ring structure will be covered), but they'll sell out no matter what and any iffy weather will only add to the atmosphere. I don't see the downside. America has a history of historic sporting events taking place in bad weather, I think that would be an awesome thing to be a part of, and it wouldn't hurt them financially any. I mean, what would be better than a fluke snow storm to accompany the Undertaker's entrance?

If in New York, could totally see them making Mania the third week in April to help with weather and what not.

Well f***. That means we don't get a Mania for at least another 3 years now, if 29 isn't in Canada and 30 is guaranteed to be at MSG. Yeah yeah, I know Toronto got 2 Manias already, but I never got to attend either one, and I can't afford the travel outside Canada at this point. same. i just kind of want to hop on the GO and hang out in toronto for that weekend, and i want that weekend to be soon!

If the outdoor New York thing works for WWE I can see Wrestlemania 31 or 32 being held at the New England Patriots stadium. Also will WWE have the Hall of Fame next year at MSG or the New Jersey Nets arena?

And as someone who also lives in New York, the weather could be horrendous. It is way too much of a crapshoot for the WWE to take the risk, IMO. If WM is at Met-Life, the HOF would be at MSG. The Meadowlands is too far in the middle of nowhere for them to hold multiple events there that weekend.

If WWE was going to run the HOF anywhere in New York most likely they'd go for MSG. If it's not available due to the Rangers or Knicks, they could always run it at the Theater at MSG, but that only holds up to 5,600 I believe. Brooklyn would be a darkhorse I would imagine. If the Theater is deemed too small, and MSG is unavailable. They could run it at the Izod Center (former home to the Devils and Nets) which is right next to MetLife Stadium, or at the Prudential Center in Newark (current home for the Devils, and for the Nets until the end of this season) but that area is a war zone. Plus, WWE has a long history of events at the Meadowlands so I would think the Izod Center would get first chance. Also, if WWE books up the Sheraton at the Meadowlands for the talent, staff, etc. Then I think that would make it a lock that the HOF would be at the Izod Center.

WM outdoors, in New York. In April? Awful call. Typical April night around here is mid 50's to mid 40's. Chilly? Yes. Brutal? No. Of course it could be cold, windy, and rainy... but you run the risk of rain in just about any outdoor venue. It could also be 60 and clear. As seen with the decision by the NFL to give MetLife Stadium a Super Bowl, New York is New York... you don't run an event there for the weather. You run it because it's the biggest market on the planet.

People seem to be thinking arenas & theaters for Access. But the NY area has a number of massive convention centers. The Javitz Center is huge, and the design of it would make it a good layout for the Fan Access events. But I do think the other events would be at the Meadowlands itself, it just makes too much sense. Naturally, the other end of the TV & media blitz will take place in the Times Square area. In regards to MetLife Stadium; I've never been to a Mania, and I'm already thinking about going to 29 if the rumors are true. I'd be very excited to see Mania at a new venue in "New York." But, I tend to agree with those with weather concerns... Could be the rainiest Wrestlemania ever. (But I'd still sit through 5 hours of it!)
