What a strange film. Didn't love it, didn't hate it. Pretty 'eh' to it to be honest.

I liked the movie my only gripe was that people clapped and cheered for the scenes that led to the ending. So annoying. One of the draw backs of watching a movie with the general populace. {Spoiler}The scenes I am talking about are the ones with Alfed at the end and when Catwomen kisses Batman. Also I kind of disliked how the unceremoniously killed Bane. I saw swerv with Miranda because of the scar. I am very glad too because she was very unlikeable in my eyes.
Overall good movie.

Great show! My gripes are kind of nit picking so I can definitely say that I will be going back on Sunday to see it again... {Spoiler}Bane's voice took some time to get used to. I believe they went back and dubbed it after the first trailer and people were complaining about his voice not being clear enough like Batman's.
Alfred killed it for me. I LOVED the ending where he saw Bruce and Selina at the table. I felt that he was in on Wayne surviving and Gordon, Blake, and Fox were to believe that he died.
The Robin name at the end was cheesy but not a big deal.
I guess I give this movie a very high score because it gives a good ending to the trilogy and it fits in Nolan's universe. After I saw The Avengers, I did not view this Batman trilogy as a comic book movie anymore. Avengers and the films building up to it are the definition of great comic book films and this Batman trilogy cannot come close to that. It seems more like a detective crime drama with comic characters. That being said, I LOVE this entire trilogy and am sad to see Nolan stopping. It had a good happy ending IMO. {Spoiler} The camera angles for this..... (spoiler'd for size) {Spoiler}

Good film, enjoyed it. Bane and Catwoman were both brilliant. Not sure about some stuff though. {Spoiler}The ending. It just seems very un-Batman for Bruce to fake his death and f*** off to Italy, abandoning his Batman identity.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt was good but the whole 'robin' thing was silly and too far removed from the actual Batman IMO.

Regarding the end: {Spoiler}That was bloody stupid. He died, or did he? Did Bruce and Selina both get a clean slate or is this Alfred's imagination. Stupid stupid stupid Inception ending. Unnecessary. {Spoiler}I thought that was what all the dialogue between Bruce Wayne and Lucius Fox about The Bat's autopilot was building up to (him escaping from the bomb at the last minute), and that Wayne is really alive and happily living with Selina. Not like the ambiguous ending to Inception. I'm still planning on seeing it probably a couple more times, and maybe I missed something but ... {Spoiler}I thought their conversations were about the Bat NOT having autopilot.

For those wondering about the ending. {Spoiler}It was on autopilot. It was setup when the Bat was introduced by Fox that it would need Bruce Wayne to fix it and Batman when he was getting the Bat ready at the end told Fox it works great even the autopilot.
I thought about Rocky at the start funny enough. An Usher tried to do a trivia contest for posters but the crowd didn't respond right. She said the themes for the Nolan Batfilms were Fear, Chaos and Pain and my friend said "Clubber Lang's prediction? PAIN!". So when Alfred was saying how fast and strong Bane was I thought Clubber and during Bane's beating of Batman in the Underground I thought Catwoman, throw the towel. And that fight was great.

I enjoyed the IMAX version. The scenes filmed for IMAX engulfed the screen and made for a great experience. As for the film itself, it is a great completion to the trilogy, though The Dark Knight was better.

{Spoiler}I dunno. His crying and muttering "I'm so sorry, I failed you" at Bruce's grave makes me think otherwise. Unless he was putting on a show for anyone who might have been watching I absolutely LOVED it. Awesome movie that I plan on seeing several times

I've yet to see it, but from what I'm being told, it's a decent trilogy ender for the super realistic films Nolan created, but that it has some really dumb moments and stuff that I'm going to hate

Oh *** yes. A great film that was a superb ending to the trilogy. {Spoiler}I marked so hard when Bane did the 'break you' moment and the knee across the back. Anyone spot Elijah Burke during the film at all? Kept an eye out for him but so much going on I couldn't say for certain if he was on screen or not although it didn't look like it.

He asks by who? They say Bruce Wayne. he lived. And as far as the ending {Spoiler} Him retiring was a logical progression for him to make, as he was never as obsessed in these films as in the books. All three movies were about him building to a time that the city wouldn't need him any more, and he could inspire others. He did that both with his sacrifice, and Levitt continuing his methods. Batman 'died', so Bruce Wayne could live. For once, it was nice seeing a story where Batman won and got to have a happy ending.

But with it nearing 3 in the morning by that part and the fact that I could barely hear half the dialogue anyway, I'm not surprised I missed it. I'll have to see it again to catch what I missed.

I thought it was excellent, a fitting end to a fantastic trilogy. I'm not going to say where it ranks in my favourite film of the three because IMO you can't really do that sort of thing until you've seen it a couple of times and let it sink in. {Spoiler}I guess that was kind of the point but when Alfred was telling the story about how he'd be having a drink and look up and see Bruce, it was obvious how it was going to end.

{Spoiler}I though the twist of Tate being Talia was kind of hokey. She did the big monologue that every new heel does which felt cliche. The trigger going an extra 11 minutes was also kind of stupid.
Another nitpick is that the shot of Wayne and Kyle at the table was not needed. The shot of Alfred (who should seriously get an Oscar nomination) smiling in acknowledgment was all that was needed.
Besides that, an amazing movie. I like how they didn't try to top Dark Knight but rather went a different route. {Spoiler}I'd need someone else to confirm this but, I don't think it added 11 mins to the bomb, the bomb was going to go off in 11 mins regardless. Talia was going to detonate it before the time ran out but the signal was jammed. She said to Batman that he just bought the people of Gotham an extra 11 mins, meaning that the bomb would have to go off on its scheduled timer. If that makes any sense.
