{Spoiler}I though the twist of Tate being Talia was kind of hokey. She did the big monologue that every new heel does which felt cliche. The trigger going an extra 11 minutes was also kind of stupid.
Another nitpick is that the shot of Wayne and Kyle at the table was not needed. The shot of Alfred (who should seriously get an Oscar nomination) smiling in acknowledgment was all that was needed.
Besides that, an amazing movie. I like how they didn't try to top Dark Knight but rather went a different route. {Spoiler}I'd need someone else to confirm this but, I don't think it added 11 mins to the bomb, the bomb was going to go off in 11 mins regardless. Talia was going to detonate it before the time ran out but the signal was jammed. She said to Batman that he just bought the people of Gotham an extra 11 mins, meaning that the bomb would have to go off on its scheduled timer. If that makes any sense. {Spoiler}Yeah, one of the points in the speech at the football game was that the scientist Bane killed was the only one who knew how to defuse the bomb. Though I recall Talia saying something before she died about the bomb, but for the life of me I can't remember her dialogue. I really need to see this again to catch what I missed.

Saw the midnight showing. Satisfying conclusion, but The Dark Knight is still the best of the Nolan trilogy (and for me, the title of best summer movie for 2012 still goes to Avengers). That said... {Spoiler}It was actually pretty nice that Bruce got a happy ending send off, for once.

Btw, I hope this movie ends the "it's not a super hero movie" mindset. You got a dude in a Batplane flying around the city, a chick in a catsuit driving around on a badass motorcycle, complex plot with plenty of twists and a monster of a villain. There's very little to ask for of a comic book movie IMO.

That was amazing.
I feel like The Dark Knight was more exciting, but this was overall a better movie.
That ending man, I could not have thought of a better one, honestly.

Just got back. Without giving anything away I'll say that I liked it, didn't love it. More than satisfying ending to the trilogy, but as expected (not that this is meant as criticism) this was no Dark Knight. I get that it was meant to be a different kind of movie, but I'm just talking pure quality and enjoyment.
Loved Bane. It's a shame he'll always be seen in the shadow of Joker because I thought (with the exception of one moment) he was brilliant. Even if I had a hell of a time understanding what he was saying for the first hour of the movie.
I'll buy this as soon as it's out and watch it again. Might catch it in the theater again but I doubt it. Really strong movie. It deserved the applause it got at the end in my theater.

My prayers go out to those affected by this senseless act of violence...but I am not going to alter my plans because of a lunatic.
I'm going to see it tonight. Can't wait to see how they portray Bane and if they really are going to break the Bat.

If only Bane had claimed to have had sex with Bruce's mother.

I also had that problem myself. Thirded. Sounded like Sean Connery speaking through a bullhorn. First, I'm glad it wasn't just me because I never heard a complaint from the audience so I thought maybe I was alone in that. Secondly, THANK YOU FRISKY. I kept thinking that his voice reminded me of someone's nearly dead on and I was driving myself crazy trying to place it. You nailed it. The problem was really only for the first 45-60 minutes though. I mean that's a lot, but it wasn't impossible to deal with. I feel like there was a specific point where he became much easier to understand and I never had the issue again.

I actually felt this movie had pretty much the opposite problem of The Dark Knight. {Spoiler}TDK had such a frantic pace all the way through, that when you hit the end it sort of fizzled out. This film was sort of slow in comparison, yet the ending was f***ing awesome.

How does Hathaway stack up to previous Catwomen? She surprised me on how well I thought she did. I will always pick Pfeffier though based on personal nostalgia and such, but Hathaway probably did the best Catwoman on film that we've seen yet.

How does Hathaway stack up to previous Catwomen? She's pretty good. The exact depiction of her is pretty similar to BtAS or Arkham City; her performance isn't on the level of Pfeiffer's or anything, but this movie's version of Catwoman is far closer to the standard version of the character than the one in Returns so which'd be better probably comes down to how much of a comics stickler you are.

Really good movie. Though probably my least favorite of the trilogy. I thought I'd have a hard time understanding Bane, but except for a couple of lines, I didn't.
