One thing's for certain.
The SHIELD need to beat the hell out of Cole tomorrow. Snitches get Stitches.

I'm still gonna order WM and I'm not gonna pretend that I'm not going to.
I'm just upset at what the main event (and probable outcome) will be.

Not only will this awful booking cost them Mania buys, it's going to make EC almost meaningless as nobody believes anything will change with that match as a result and face it, nobody is buying EC to see what happens with the WHC. Lots of $ lost tonight. Um, did anybody think Punk or DB were losing last year? I remember a lot of people thinking Jericho was going to beat Punk to set up their match. Probably would have made more sense for a, "Who's the best in the world?" story than Punk beating him on three straight PPVs. Then again, the same storyline with Bryan played out the same exact way, so maybe it's not good to go with what makes sense for WWE.

Michael Cole just didn't want to admit that he recognized the smell of Tyler Black's shampoo.
I feel like a weird wrestling fan when I look at these boards. I really enjoyed the match, the booking, and the ending. The false ending got me and then they went with the obvious. Sometimes, the obvious is too obvious so I appreciate them toying with the emotions a little bit before getting there.
Not the biggest fan of Rock/Cena 2, but Rock beating Punk went fine in my eyes.

Rock/Cena is still gonna make a ton of money. I loved the reign and didn't like the way the finish was done, but we all knew this was gonna happen.

The only way I could see this being salvaged is if it turns out Cena was the one who jumped Rock and as a result Punk gets added to a triple threat match, but that'd require WWE having balls. Didn't you hear Michael Cole? IT WAS THE SHIELD! THAT WAS A TRAVESTY! Good thing Michael Cole is Batman, otherwise we would've never known who attacked the Rock. No, Michael Cole is Bane. Batman merely adopted the dark, whereas Cole was born in it, molded by it.

They killed the lights, not the power, plus with camera phones out and flashes going on. If it was totally dark the SHIELD would not have been able to get to the ring to attack Rock. Though, to be fair, The Shield have turned out the lights and beat the hell out of someone in the past, so it's not like it's new for them.

I don't understand the hate about Rock winning. Was there any other outcome that could've worked? Punk has beaten everyone on the roster worth a title run over the past year and Rock was literally THE last opponent for him. Not saying that the way it happened was good (I didn't like it either), but it had to end with Rock imo.

So how bad do you feel for that one chick who predicted that The Shield were going to win the Royal Rumble Match?

If someone the size of The Rock dropped a full force elbow on your chest I don't think you'd get up.

Maybe its because I watch a lot of TNA and am immunized to BS finishes, but again the result didn't really bother me. People's elbow or not I think it puts Punk over somewhat that it took one of the biggest stars in the history of the business to finally end his title reign.

I don't have a problem with Rock going over, it's just how they did it was pretty silly imo.

Cena winning the Rumble took the air completely out of the crowd.
I hope Jericho is actually back, but somehow I doubt it...

Cena winning the Rumble took the air completely out of the crowd. I hope Jericho is actually back, but somehow I doubt it... Given how they emphasized early on that he doesn't have a contract , I'm figuring he's not back full-time until a bit closer to Mania.

Lots of $ lost tonight. Yeahhhhhhhhh not true Cena vs. Rock is still the biggest money match so the booking got them to where they want to be.

Cena winning the Rumble took the air completely out of the crowd. I hope Jericho is actually back, but somehow I doubt it... Took the air out of the crowd so much that his win got a loud reaction and the first 10 minutes of Rock/Punk also got loud dueling chants. All Cena's fault.
