I admit I haven't seen a whole lot of anime, but where have you seen that one? I don't recall that cliche from what I've seen. Bleach, the anime, had one Any Ecchi, perverted anime WILL have one (And a hot spring episode) Or a pool one. It's mandatory almost. It's kinda subverted sometimes though, like with Zero No Tsukaima where the beach/hot springs/pool episode is actually an OVA, not in the actual series. And it's a regular ecchi anime most of the time.

The adult girl who looks (and might act) like a child. Could be known as "lolicon". I really don't get the appeal behind this. Even worse is the one that hasn't physically aged past 10 or 11, but since they're a vampire or a magician, they're "actually" 500 years old.

Male protagonists who look all the same. I enjoyed the series Angel Beats, Kiss X Sis, High School of the Dead, and Ben-To, but hell if I could pick the main guys out of a line up. They visually all blend together, but the other characters(both male and female) seem to look different.

Which is even more damning because I can instantly recognize the rest of HotD's main cast.

Without the hair color, every male on Angel Beats would look exactly the same.

Oh, one nobody has mentioned. "Everybody over 25 is useless, unless they're a supernatural being whose physical body stays younger than 25."

Some of then are side effect of the Harem rule, that the male protagonista must be generic and blan as possible

I'm no anime expert, but I'm on board with not enjoying anime sight gags very much. I think the lack of them helped me become a Cowboy Bebop fan very early on.
Also, it does get annoying finding one I'd like to check out, and then hear in the original voice cast the inevitable "grown woman with the voice of a child" character. Always creeps me out.

Random Character: [makes some sort of comment suggesting the male and female lead are attached]
Male Lead: [gets flustered and makes a cartoonishly angry expression] "Sh-she's NOT my girlfriend!"
Female Lead: [looks sad and gets quiet] "Th...that's right..."

But there is some truth in that. A lot of grown Japanese women do have high pitched voices similar to that of a child's. Whether or not it is all just an act for them to appear younger is a different story altogether, however.

Superiors in turn lower their pitch. Now consider women in Japanese social standing.

First Tsundere girl wins in EVERY HAREM ANIME EVAR!! So Ash'll end up with Misty instead of Dawn? I'm fine with that. Speaking of, which, 90% of the shit that happens in Poke'mon. I don't get why they continue to keep Ash around when the gammes & manga have ever changing protagonists.

Klutzes, and this might be odd considering my attitude towards it, but overly explicit fanservice. I can enjoy the fanart, but having series dedicated to fanservice-y stuff bores me a lot. Emotionless characters make me go meh, pretty much all the time, and I don't really like the loli vampire type - basically adults or really old beings with bodies of kids... especially when they have a tendency to look pretty or act NSFW. In general, characters having to learn some new or secret technique in order to face the villain of the next arc. Just once I'd like to see someone hit their peak in power early on, and end up having to rely on cleverness and their experience to beat the villain instead of relying on their new attack or somesuch. What else... usually the teen hero dude thrown into these crazy and dangerous situations, though sometimes I enjoy that, and I guess that happens in video games and other stuff as well. For most romantic comedies, you pretty much know who'd be together with the main guy in the end, too. Of course, there are some exceptions. Like for example, Thorfinn from the Vinland Saga. Starts of as a anti-hero teen with issues and no problem killing. {Spoiler}Halfway through the series, he grows up and becomes more of a pacifist who regrets himself on being a killer. Quite a physical change, too, from a kinda lean kid to a more muscular adult.

Alphonse was the only one of the two main leads to gain an upgrade and even then all it amounted to was putting him on the same level alchemy wise as Edward. Really any "good" character in FMA who gained an upgrade during the course of the series had to pay a rather heavy price for it. {Spoiler}Al had his blood sigil weak point, Ling had his body taken over by the embodiment of greed, Lan Fan lost an arm, Mustang lost his vision, etc. Scar was really the only one to get an upgrade without having a major sacrifice in return for it.

The "I need to tell you a serious story about me but I'll have my cleavage hanging out the whole time" thing. I don't mind fanservice but when a show is trying to tell a major plot point or twist, I don't want random boob shots. I don't remember the anime but a show did that A LOT and it got to the point that I could not take the story seriously despite how good it was.

His upgrade was getting alchemy tattoos on his other arm that allowed him to create things. Until the point of his upgrade all he could do was destroy things with, yes, his brother's arm.

Here's one that I used to love but now am starting to loathe. The token beach episode. Serves no purpose other than to show off the ladies in the skimpiest swimsuits possible. I admit I haven't seen a whole lot of anime, but where have you seen that one? I don't recall that cliche from what I've seen. First anime that comes to mind when I think about pointless beach/hot springs episode: Outlaw Star. And how about all those times we see someone unleash a brand new, powerful attack at the very last second to win a battle, and never use the same attack ever again? Hate that.

Funnily for once a cliche that Bleach did but in a justified way. Ichigo used his Final Getsuga to beat Aizen and hasn't used the attack since. But for good purpose. Using Final Getsuga sealed his powers the first time he used it, so it is literally meant to be a one use attack.
