So they have given up entirely on the project now? After spending god knows how many millions... I doubt they gave up %100 on it, their just taking things much slower. So they have given up entirely on the project now? After spending god knows how many millions... It doesnt sound like that. It sounds like they still haven't gotten the right deal with the cable providers to carry it yet. Yeah fair enough to both comments, but to me letting go of the Executives for the thing sounds like a big deal but it just might be the way i am interpreting it.

Yeah fair enough to both comments, but to me letting go of the Executives for the thing sounds like a big deal. Networks have 10s if not 100s of executives and the WWE went on a huge hiring spree last year for the network. We don't know where on the totem pole these people were and I dont think its an indication of things going south. Its obviously been tough getting it off the ground, but I cannot put much stock in this beyond that its probably further out from debuting than not. For all we know these people did something stupid to get themselves canned.

They're probably the two execs who said "Hell yeah Vince, we can totally have this ready to go by the week of WrestleMania 28."

So who wants to let them know that the counter is wrong? JTG was fired shortly after SummerSlam 2007 and was re-hired in March 2008. The counter includes the period when he wasn't with WWE. Yes they do. They even explain it here. They start at his debut date, October 16, 2006. It's been roughly 6 years and 87 days since that date. 5 years, 452 days - 5 years, 244 days = 208 days which is roughly 7 months. He was gone from September 2, 2007 to March 31, 2008 which is apprx 7 months. Sept 2-Oct 2-Nov 2-Dec 2-Jan 2-Feb 2-Mar 2-Apr 2 is 7 months. There are 208 days missing since the clock says only 5 years and 244 days when if you don't count his release would be 6 years and 87 days. I thought it was just meant to count March 2008-present rather than combining both of his WWE runs. Good thing Punk doesn't count that way. If he was using the total time spent as champion rather than individual reigns, he'd be much further down the list.
