I'm going. I'll be off to the bathroom during Trump's induction.
I have no issue with the celebrity wing, I just don't care to listen to that uber-douche speak.

MSG, make me proud and be your New York selves during his speech. I'm going and I really hope people don't boo during any part of the HOF ceremonies. Will just be awkward and not in good taste at all.

The fact that Donald Trump is in while guys like Randy Savage and Jake Roberts are not is completely disgusting. It genuinely makes me want to see the WWE go out of business. LMAO. Come on. It's a CELEBRITY WING, designed to garner a little media attention. And WWE also spreads out inductions-people don't go in in any specific order so saying one gets in before another is not a logical argument. The celebrity wing itself is just as messed up as the actual hall of fame itself, in my opinion. Cindy Lauper probably should've went in ahead of Drew Carey, but that's just my opinion.

I actually have no problem with Trump going in. He's done a hell of a lot more to deserve it than Drew Carey does

Out of all the things to get caught up on in the HOF, the celebrity wing is hardly anything to get excited about. The moment the Fridge went in, I knew it was a publicity gag. Lauper is likely going to go in though, just not this year. As far as the actual wrestling part of the HOF? Good f***ing luck with Savage, Warrior and such.

I'd like to see ICP get into the celebrity wing as they've been in pretty much every wrestling organization over the years, as opposed to a celeb that only makes a couple of total appearances ever in the ring getting in Only celeb to appear in ECW, WWE, WCW, TNA, ROH

After Raw it is very clear that WWE is using the branding "Celebrity Honoree." They avoided using the terms 'inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame," "inducted into the Celebrity Wing of the WWE Hall of Fame," and "inductee." Jerry Lawler did slip-up and say 'inductee,' which led to Michael Cole once again using the phrase 'Celebrity Honoree.'
This is the first time they have used it and they used it at least three times in that Hall of Fame announcement.
This rebranding comes as WWE finally inducts Bruno Sammartino. I have to wonder if this is related.

Meh. Say what you will about Trump. He hosted Wrestlemania 4 and 5. He's deserving.

I would have preferred Lauper (or Mr. T, who may not have been an option), but Trump is worthy enough for being there at WrestleMania IV and V (at Trump Plaza) and for doing The Battle of the Billionaires. I don't like the man, but he is worthy of the Celebrity Wing. He was also interviewed at Wrestlemania XX. Trump is a jackass but he's been involved with the WWE a lot... and is certainly more worthy than say Drew Carey that did roughly 3 minutes of work in the WWE The fact that Donald Trump is in while guys like Randy Savage and Jake Roberts are not is completely disgusting. It genuinely makes me want to see the WWE go out of business. I can't really blame the WWE for not wanting anything to do with Jake Roberts. As much as I think he should be in the actual Hall of Fame.

Donald Trump? Screw that. No Mr. T, no peace. They've offered it to Mr. T before, but he turned them down because Pete Rose was put in it before he was even offered.

Hahaha...overstatement of the week, right there~ Yes, was a part of WWE lore. But that doesn't mean I have to like him and that dead ferret he calls his hair.

I can't really blame the WWE for not wanting anything to do with Jake Roberts. As much as I think he should be in the actual Hall of Fame. If he manages to stay clean once he's out of DDP's hands (and, in all honesty, this is the best shot he's had in years to do it), Roberts will be in before the end of the decade. I'm 99% certain of it.

Why does it matter who goes in before who? No one cares about that in any other HoF that I know of. If someone gets in, then they get in, regardless of the order. It's not like these people are in line to be president or something.
