Keiji Mutoh is likely on their list of future inductees, but until then I'd say Shohei Baba is the next best Japanese star they could induct despite being dead. Satoru Sayama, Jushin Thunder Liger, Bull Nakano, Tatsumi Fujinami, and Genichiro Tenryu would make the short list too. All have either worked for WWE at some point or influenced WWE superstars a great deal. That and WWE owns plenty of footage of them. But beyond that, there's no point in inducting Toshiaki Kawada, Jumbo Tsuruta, Kenta Kobashi, Riki Choshu, Akira Maeda, Masahiro Chono, Rikidozan, Shinya Hashimoto, Nobuhiko Takada, Atsushi Onita, or Mitsuharu Misawa. I don't think they'd ever get around to Ultimo Dragon or Yoshihiro Tajiri. I'd have to say Baba is the most likely since, aside from basically being the Japanese Andre, he was a very successful promoter. Tiger Mask and Jushin Liger are right behind him.

Trish interview with the Toronto Sun where she sheds some light on her inductor, sort of:
So assuming that it she isn't swerving us from guessing the obvious choice, would the next logical person be Finlay?

About the only ones, if it's not Lita, I can see inducting Trish are Finlay, Vince, Lilian or Steph.

Do you think there will be one more inductee being announced tonight or was Booker T the final addition to this year's class?
I have a feeling that there will be a posthumous inductee being announced on RAW.

I think I'd vomit. I am getting the feeling that it might end up being Stephanie if it isn't going to be Lita. I really don't see anyone else going in at this late date, but we'll probably find out all of the inductors tonight.

So Trump and Sammartino get the TV inductions?
That's total bullshit.

I feel like this class underachieved. First it's the smallest class in Hall of Fame history since 1993. Not only that, but it's got the smallest amount of wrestlers going in than any other class with just five since Trump takes up a spot.
Then you have the lack of posthumous inductions. The list is only getting longer and yet they chose to go with none? With no rush to edit the show on Saturdays, clearly there was time to add a posthumous induction or two as in previous classes. With guys like Baron Scicluna and Bullet Bob Armstrong in the Hall of Fame, the list of potential posthumous inductions goes way beyond the number they've inducted in the past 14 classes. There have been 18 inductions with posthumous inductees.
Randy "Macho Man" Savage, Lou Thesz, Ray "the Crippler" Stevens, Owen Hart, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith, Paul Bearer, Bam Bam Bigelow, Haystacks Calhoun, Big Boss Man, Miss Elizabeth, Jack Tunney, The Fabulous Freebirds, Bruiser Brody, Giant Baba, Brian Pillman, John "Earthquake" Tenta, Lord Alfred Hayes, "Toots" Mondt, Gene Kiniski, Johnny Valentine, Dick The Bruiser, "The Crusher" Lisowski, Chief Wahoo McDaniel, "Dr Death" Steve Williams, Dick Murdoch, Adrian Adonis, Stan "the Man" Stasiak, Edouard Carpentier, Karl Gotch, Dr Jerry Graham, "Crazy" Luke Graham, Big Bill Miller, King Curtis Iaukea, Professor Toru Tanaka, Willie Gilzenberg, Dino Bravo, Pat O'Connor, "Playboy" Gary Hart, "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert, Paul Boesch, Sam Muchnick, Gory Guerrero, Sky Low Low, Hans Schmidt, Luna Vachon, "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell, "Mr Wrestling" Tim Woods, Ray Morgan, Andy Kaufman
Was there just nobody in that group worthy of joining this 2013 class? This seems absolutely lazy. Especially when this class has enough star power to carry a few midcard inductions with it. The headliners are going to eventually dry up. I give it ten years. Maybe twelve. It sounds like a long time but does that mean less than twelve of the guys I just listed will get in? WWE needs to be inducting around two posthumously a year. Not zero.

these were the only people on the ballot that got at least 75% of the vote.

WWE needs to be inducting around two posthumously a year. Not zero. Welcome to how I feel about the HOF just about every year. If Demolition Ax or Smash pass on before they are inducted, I'm practically done with the WWE HOF. I'll never get that moment as a fan to see Macho Man and WWE mend the rift. I'll never see Bam Bam Bigelow get that opportunity to receive the appreciation he was never given from the company. Yes, it's impossible to know when these guys are going to pass away, but it would certainly be easier to not play the clock by not inducting people who basically will get inducted at some point, no matter what. We could have held off on Michaels, Edge and Eddie Guerrero. No one would have complained. We don't have to rush those over others because the opportunity is easier. Granted, Sammartino is a game changer, but it's only a matter of time before WWE will likely go back to their old routine of inducting guys with the company. D-X for some reason will be going in soon, as will so many others. Once you have guys like Trips, Taker, Kane, Rock, Lesnar and such in there, maybe enough time passes where Cena, Orton and those guys get in. It's just a never ending cycle of snubbing some, while others get shortcuts.

Welcome to how I feel about the HOF just about every year. If Demolition Ax or Smash pass on before they are inducted, I'm practically done with the WWE HOF. Demolition is one of the few cases where it seems like Vince McMahon ended up favoring the competition's creation (The Road Warriors) over his own. Seriously, it's been that way ever since LOD came to WWE in 1990. Demolition soon went on the back-burner, then split up after jobbing to two relative unknowns from Japan at Wrestlemania VII. I've always preferred Demolition over LOD, and aside from the face paint they weren't all that much alike. I would almost be surprised if they ever get inducted into the HOF. Hell, I'd even love to see a Demolition DVD set.

these were the only people on the ballot that got at least 75% of the vote. Drew Carey didn't get 75% of the vote and as much as I'll defend Koko B Ware going in their Hall of Fame, I know he didn't get 75% of the vote. Vince might take into consideration who people vote for, but he'll approve inductees for various reasons other than how much support they had in the locker room.

So Arnold for Bruno, Vince for Trump, Maria for Backlund, Steph for Trish, Funk for Foley, correct?
Just Booker left, I guess.
