I actually wouldn't be surprised if she leaves and I was thinking about this the other day.
1. She just got engaged, most people want to spend more time with their spouse once they get married...so at the very least I'd expect her to take time off.
2. This whole feud with Kaitlyn feels like her last swan song to put a diva over...which is why she's working heel against someone that WWE feels could be the next big face and will likely go on to work against AJ Lee at WM.
3. She's accomplished most everything a diva these days could ask for, with 3 title runs (I think) there's nothing else for her to do.

Would be amazing if Kaitlyn vs. AJ happens at WM and Paige debuts the night after and jumps either Kaitlyn or AJ, and she reveals herself as the female member of The Shield. Yup then they can book the triple threat between them at extreme rules, while they debut/re-push a face diva so they can even out the top of the diva division with 2 faces and 2 heels.

It's kinda reflective of the state of things when the top of the division being rounded out by some random rookie, two people who have never been seen outside of very insular circles is seen as the optimal outcome. People shouldn't be surprised the diva's aren't taken that seriously.

I don't see Paige getting over as a heel, it didn't work in NXT. Don't like the idea of a female Shield member either. They aren't going to triple powerbomb a Diva so they'd be rather ineffective as a team.

Maybe she would. I've seen Paige giving Rollins the eye a few times when they were in FCW.

To comment again, all the divas are smart to leave WWE. WWE doesn't care about them and treats them like crap for the most part. Michelle McCool, someone who is as politically connected as anyone can be with that company, complained about she and the other girls were treated. Sometimes I'm harsh on them, but for the most part, many of the girls aren't talented. And a lot of the time, it's not their fault. Poor Kaitlyn was thrown out on television with zero experience and they had her do a match, and it seemed that it was simply to embarrass them. Leave or go where? Women in wrestling aren't treated good across the board. TNA pays them much less and with the same treatment with only difference is that they wrestle slightly longer matches. Work the indies means you got to hustle hard. Any woman who get into wrestling already should know what to expect. Leave and leave wrestling. If WWE released all the divas on the main roster, I'd say only Natalya and AJ would continue wrestling for the indies or TNA, and both would have the passion enough to do the hustle. WWE hired random models for the most part, not wrestlers. Natalya and AJ were hired on as wrestlers, so my guess is, they will keep wrestling. Hell, even Beth Phoenix is taking a break, but with her, she was doing indies and OVW before wrestling 6 long years in WWE. Though I could see her eventually showing up in Shimmer or for random indies.

Tragically, this is too often the case. A whole lot of potential has come into WWE and left out the other end learning that the reality of wrestling isn't "Creative has nothing for you" so much as " wrestling has nothing for you," and as a result, you can't help but sympathize with those who dread the signing of an indie talent - let alone a female indie talent - to a company that seems wholly adverse to even putting a minute of time and effort in anyone who either doesn't fit the mold or doesn't have a whole lot of stroke in their corner.

Meltzer says it's true:
You know what, I'd keep an eye out for some other women who have been around for a while. Just a feeling at this rate.

Mike Johnson was the one who reported it, I find him to be pretty credible, probably more so in recent times than Dave Meltzer. Knowing him, he probably researched this thoroughly before putting it out there. So this'll be Eve's final night for sure. Meltzer mentioned it on one of his radio shows briefly a couple weeks ago.

And just after I make a thread about how good her title reign has been and how good she is at carrying and being the face of the divas division.

It seems at least on the outside that Nattie is comfortable in her current role, Rosa really might stay forever at this rate, Fox will probably try to stick around for a couple of years hoping to get another shot, Tamina probably sticks around thought to name plus Vince seems to like her due to her last name. So I guess Layla could leave in a couple of months if she figures OUT she won't get another push will all the young divas ready to be on tv and she is rightly or wrongly, getting up there in age for a diva. So my guess is Layla might be the next to leave on her own but I don't expect it so soon.

I have a feeling that it's more than just being burnt out from being on the road, as it can't be a coincidence that it's been mostly divas that have been leaving the WWE in the past year.

On the one hand, its sad to see her go just when she was coming into her own as a heel. On the other hand, five years seems to be the shelf-life for a Diva, so its not all that surprising that she wants to take a break for a while.
