This should happen only if someone tries to stop guy #30 on his way to the ring so he cannot enter and win the match.

Or they have their first ever Rumble in the Bank contract cash in and someone suddenly enters at #31.

A good way for them to make Ryder look stupid again,as if they needed another way:

It's down to Orton and Ryback.
The countdown for #30 starts.
Orton and Ryback eliminate each other simultaneously
#30 is Ryder
He comes to the ring and celebrates.
Two minutes later another countdown starts
Justin Roberts: "By the way this is another 40 man royal rumble!"
Then #31 ends up being Hornswoggle, who eliminates Ryder easily

Eve briefly unretires so she can run out and kick Ryder in the nuts as he makes his way to the back before re-retiring.

It'd only work if they hadn't announced whoever ends up winning as an entrant. If they reached #30 and John Cena hadn't entered yet, you'd know something was up before the reveal.

Do 90 seconds, which is what I thought they did for 30 man rumbles anyway... they play fast and loose with the clock anyway. They could do the supposed 45 minutes in 50 minutes or 40, whichever they felt like.
