taimapedia.org/index.php?title=LOLTNA_HistoryThought I would search for it out of curiosity and low and behold, it's still trucking. Even got a couple of 2013 entries already. Though it seems the 2012 section is shorter than 2011/2010, so there's that at least.

A lot of mis-information and half truths in this thing. I know it's just for fun but they really do make it sound more LOLTNA than it really was at points. There's plenty of actual stuff to make fun of so there should be no need to skew stuff.

Don't quite get why
"Viacom, Spike TV's parent corporation, plays hardball with DirecTV and strikes out; DirecTV drops all of Viacom's networks for weeks following failed negotiations over pay rates for the networks. After putting on one of the best PPVs in its history and drumming up tons of positive buzz, TNA's ratings suffer thanks to something far out of its control."
This is htere as stated it was something out of TNA's control.

...that was the gag. Tara didn't really have a 'Hollywood boyfriend' she's a delusional heel. She wasn't actually talking to anyone from Hollywood on the phone. She hyped him up because they both have inflated egos.

That's what the problem is with a lot of things on this list, the person adding them doesn't seem to have the ability to pick things up that aren't flashing right in their face. They say a lot of things weren't explained but it was more of a case that just because it played out on screen and wasn't like "HEY THIS IS HAPPENING! GUYS THIS IS THE STORYLINE!" that they simply didn't "get" it.

Makes me laugh more so at the person who put the stuff in rather than some of the events that happened. To me stuff like Jenna vs. Sharmell does belong in there but not things like Jessie not actually being a big star.

I think it has to do with the fact that TNA hired/uses(again) another reality tv star that no one could give a shit less about.

And the reason than site is still going because TNA still does cringe worthy things. You should read some of the sites pointing out the dumb things WWE does. This isn't a "Let's pick on TNA" thing. They point out the same criticisms that people mentioned here.

Mister Pec-Tacular was interested in being a wrestler and is good at it, he wasn't simply supposed to be a celebrity crossover attention grab and the fact is I don't care about what he did before he was a wrestler, if he is entertaining on screen that is all that matters and to me he is pretty entertaining in ring and out. The story was that he and Tara were so ego maniacal that they think they're the biggest things ever and that delusion is supposed to be the joke, that was my thoughts then and it's my thoughts now and I really don't get why it's scrutinized so much.
As far as Taz goes, he doesn't tend to get much and his commentary isn't all that on point, it was more than likely Taz flubbing (again) than TNA having to backpedal.

I don't think Jessie is a bad signing at all. He's passionate about becoming a wrestler, not too bad at it, and has charisma and a good heel arrogance. Back when I watched him on Big Brother and found out he was really interested in being a pro wrestler I knew the guy would make it. He played a good heel on TV too since he's one of those guys who's personality is clearly a bit of a put on for the sake of TV (even moreso in later seasons when he made random one off appearances for the show because the creator of the show is weirdly obsessed with him... lol, and so since he was only appearing and not actually playing the game he could be full on character and it was even more apparent he had the character ability down at least ). So he was on a reality TV show? So was The Miz. I mean I'm sure there are a hopefully small contingent of people that still hold that against the Miz but logically its not fair to do so. He's not like the Jersey Shore guys or Jenna Morasca because he's actually trained to be a wrestler, he spent time in OVW for TNA and was doing indy work even before then). What does it matter if he used to be on a reality show if he's actually trained and dedicated?

If it was written anywhere else I wouldn't have said a word but it is clearly meant as a shot because it's on a page that is all about ripping apart TNA. If it's not LOLTNA then why is it on there?

"Hahaha, you did stupid shit for years and blamed that for all your problems, now you get it right and someone's bitchfit screws things up for you." Not to mention the very first sentence on the page: I'd say this falls under that.

Yeah you're probably right, it just seems like a bit of a misplaced one, in a sea of stuff like THAT Knockouts Match and Cheex, it kinda sticks out like a sore thumb. Oh and for the record, I still think the page is smarky crap and most of it is hairsplitting by the author. Abysmal.
