Let's say for financial reasons you have to sell all your other gaming consoles and their games and you can only keep one. Which one would it be?
Personally, I'm not sure...

Bingo. The JRPG selections on the PS2 alone would last me a long ass time. I can play RE4 and MGS3 till the end of time. There was a time where I nearly spent an entire year just playing ESPN NFL 2K5. The Holy Trinity of Platformers(Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper), God of War(1 and 2), DMC and DMC3, Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, I can keep going on. It is far and away my favorite system EVER.

I guess it's a toss up between the Gamecube and the PS2. On one hand the PS2 does have a larger library of games, but on the other hand I liked Day of Reckoning and Sonic Adventure 2 far too much to settle for Smackdown and Sonic Heroes(or at least the PS2 version)...

I love my PS2 and PS3 for mainly my Yakuza and Final Fantasy games but i doubt i could live without my dreamcast and Shenmue most of all, so i pick the dreamcast.

MY PS3 as it's one of the old models that can support playing PS/PS2 games better. So at least it affords me much greater flexibility in games I can play.

Sega Genesis with my 32X...why are you looking at me like that?
Seriously, I'd pick my Genesis and all the games i have for it. I could play Shining Force II forever

If I had one of those older PS3's with PS2 backwards compatibility, that'd be a ridiculously easy choice. Otherwise gotta go with my 360. It's what I play on most these days that isn't my PC. And my PC is an emulation powerhouse so I don't have to worry about missing out too much of anything. It even plays PS2 games with relatively little trouble. So I'd get to keep my 360 along with my PS2 games since PC's aren't game consoles and there's no emulation restriction. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

For library? SNES.
For the ability to play everything else? X-Box.
For entertainment system? PS3

My Wii, definitely. Almost all my gaming is done on that these days, between what I own for it and Virtual Console. I would've said PS2, but I can live without my wrestling games. I need my damn Mario fix! ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

NES. It's been going strong since I got originally got it in 1990, I'm not giving up on it now.

Because it isn't exactly legal? Sure the emulator itself is legal but the ROMs many times are not. Case in point ROMs of console games especially games released exclusively to specific consoles would definitely be illegal(as I'd find it hard to believe that the person releasing the ROM of said game got the legal license to do so).
