I'm talking multiple cities showcasing WrestleMania. Imagine say, two different countries broadcasting 'Mania matches at different times in the day. It'd be amazing, something less of a Super Bowl feel and more of a World Cup-sized spectacle. I'd be all over it and would feel it'd justify the price tag. You could have two different main events for the two titles in two venues, so many options..what do you guys think?

I think they could, but doubt they'd try.

Wrestlemania 2 was such a horrifically, belligerently, terrible idea. But it's such an adorable trainwreck and monument to the Tuesday Night Titans era megalomania of one Vince McMahon.

I think in order to do it, they'd have to split their main stars in such a way to really appeal to the home crowds. To that extent, you'd have an arena in Boston with Cena headlining, Punk headlining in Chicago and Rock headlining in Miami. Aside from that, I'm not sure how it could be done in such a way to still pull healthy crowds.

They'd have to split the roster ala Raw and SmackDown! again so there's equal star power at each venue so no one feels cheated.

They could, but I don't know how well it would work out. Maybe if you had three big matches and put them all into one arena in the city. Considering you only have one big match at the arena they would all have to be huge "dream matches" as well to ensure people buy tickets at each one.
Then maybe have Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler commentating for one, Josh Matthews and JBL commentating for another, and possibly Jim Ross and William Regal for the third.
Not sure they have enough star power to pull it off right now. Maybe down the road, but not right now.

I bet there's an innovative way to do it where it could work. I kind of get Mania 2's appeal on paper - it was an event so big that fans in multiple cities could participate in it. It was kind of a similar feel to closed circuit phenomenon - I remember my brother being all excited that he had "tickets to Wrestlemania 3" - even though that just meant going to the local arena and watching it on a screen. It was still a big deal because that's the only place you could see it, and you were physically going and participating in an event. We've lost that now of course with widespread PPV, but maybe there could be some kind of super-event that took place over multiple live arenas throughout the day. Maybe there's potential there if it was done right.

Talent roster isn't deep enough
Might have been possible during the Attitude Era

Yes, pay $1000s of dollars just to see two matches at this so called WrestleMania that's just so happens to be in your location.
That isn't a good idea. That's why it didn't work out back then either.

I don't think a crowd would pay to see half a show live.

They could probably sell out a few medium sized buildings at the same time fairly easily. For instance, last year they could probably have sold out the Continental Airlines in Miami with just Rock/Cena, MSG with 'Taker/HHH and the Allstate Arena with Punk/Jericho. This year they could do the Staples Center with Rock/Cena 2, somewhere in the north east with Brock/HHH and Texas or Chicago for Taker/Punk.
Would it really be worth their while though? Selling out three 20,000 seat arenas still wouldn't make as much money as selling out one 70,000 seat arena. Even more so when you factor in the extra cost involved with having to transport and set up the 'Mania stages and stuff in three different cities.

From a financial standpoint it would be a disaster. WWE would have to spend three times as much for each Arena set up and would be forced to cut ticket prices by that same amount to make people come to each show.

Maybe they could pull off a lesser PPV doing that stunt, but not Wrestlemania. Not anymore; it's far too big now, and any Wrestlemania event that doesn't gather ALL the major stars under 1 roof is a rip-off to anyone who buys a ticket.

I would like it, with 2 venues though not 3.
There's plenty of fun filler they could add to mania cards.

No because then no matter how you book it, one city is getting the shaft. Nothing says WrestleMania main event in a arena like ARD/Show.

If they did it then we could see Sheamus, Cena and Orton ALL win Wrestlemania main events on the same night.

You have to think outside the box to have something like this work. You couldn't be bound by your current roster, you'd have to bring in a lot of outside talent. And maybe run some of the shows in places where non-WWE guys would draw.

Maybe instead of 2 or 3 cards in different arenas/stadiums on the same night, they could try 2 cards at the same arena/stadium on back-to-back nights.

Maybe instead of 2 or 3 cards in different arenas/stadiums on the same night, they could try 2 cards at the same arena/stadium on back-to-back nights. I had this idea last year as well. I think it would be great because WrestleMania cards are getting ridiculous these days with the amount of 'big matches' WWE tries to tack onto every card. Rock vs. Cena for Mania last year was enough, with Punk vs. Jericho as a nice bonus. To add Taker vs. HHH, in HELL IN A CELL, on top of it, on the same card, just seemed like overkill.
