I'd like to see John Cena vs. Ryback at WM. Love to see it actually. When John Cena's music hit for the Rumble last night, shit got REAL. He's a big enough star to sell things himself, they just need to get other people to that level. I feel that using him against Rock two years in a row and leaving the "rest" of the roster in "normal" matches hurts the product in the long run.

to be fair, most debuts tend to happen after Wrestlemania. So in that sense it's not for building new stars.
But a lot of the guys who get "made" are guys that the fans were already behind. John Cena was arguably Smackdown's biggest draw while US Champion. Him beating JBL was him getting what the fans wanted.
Now you CAN make a case for Batista being made at Mania as really before that he was just the muscle for Evolution that would only really wrestle big names in tag matches.
I tend to see WWE using May through August as the time frame to make new stars, with Survivor Series usually being the big ppv where new guys are usually showcased.

it's about putting on the biggest show they can every year. it's just that they've done such a shoddy job of building up new stars that they have to keep bringing back retired guys. and it's going to bite them in the ass sooner rather than later.

just like you're not going to convince me as to why you might want to spend $60 on a show that you will find entertaining. That makes no sense. The guy says why he wants to spend his $60. But you're not 'convinced' WHY he WANTS to? I saw what you were trying to do with the whole vice-versa thing, but that's bad logic right there bro. You can 'not understand why', which is different from not being convinced why. Unless you know the guy personally and can testify he's lying to himself, he really feels the opposite way inside.

Sorry guys, your trendy heels like Ziggler aren't ending Mania as champ.
