So here's my open letter to those people, in the unlikely event they read it:
I am no big name fan, I'm just an average fan, but that's what's important here, that one of your fans is expressing their opinion. I have watched various wrestling companies, starting in 1998 when I was just 5 years old. I learned the true nature of the sport a few months after that, but I kept watching for the entertainment.
Tonight, a 430+ day reign was ended by a man who's wrestled 4 matches in the last 10 years. In terms of storyline, that belt proves that one is the best wrestler in the world. Basically, The Rock, who is on a limited dates contract, is supposed to be on top of the mountain, and the face of the company.
This is obviously to set up a rematch of Rock and Cena. This match was a boring main event the first time it happened, and will be a boring main event the second time it happens. The first match's appeal was that it was a Once in a Lifetime match, between the face of the past generation, and the face of this. I can guarantee you that this match will not draw as well as it did last year.
From neither a storyline sense, real life sense, or business sense, does this hold any logic. This is the level of booking TNA in 2010 was criticised for, and if Vince McMahon cannot see this, then he doesn't deserve another penny from me. Therefore, I am never buying another PPV, or merchandise item from the WWE again. Additionally, I want no part of this year's WrestleMania, so I will not be tuning in to Raw or Smackdown until after said event.
I will however be watching NXT, as I actually enjoy that show.
I am not mad that CM Punk lost the WWE title, but that the Rock won it, and also, that the outcome of this match should have been obvious even from RAW #1000 over 6 months ago.

I think it'd be hilarious if Vince makes Punk go out and specifically blame the internet for being why he lost. "Those of you who think my rants don't apply to you? That I actually like you? Who think I give a shit about you just because you've watched me since IWA-MS? f*** YOU!"

I like how you state Cena/Rock 1 was boring. Like it's this fact.
I enjoyed it a lot actually.

From neither a storyline sense, real life sense, or business sense, does this hold any logic. Yeah I know, right? I mean come on, Cena vs. Rock II? Man WWE's running themselves out of business with that one; no way anyone pays for that again. No business sense whatsoever. It's almost as idiotic and nonsensical as when they put Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels 2 years in a row, cause who the f*** would want to see that!?

For the last time, NOBODY from the WWE reads this forum anymore. They used to, but then they got tired of people asking to see Chris Masters in a sombrero. We really screwed the pooch on that one, you guys.

Good lord.
It's nights like this that create the "I kinda hope x happens just so I can laugh at people's overreaction to it" mentality some people have with the IWC.

You people are hilarious. Dear WWE, I want to express my distaste for your product. You see I am horrify by the Rock. Oh it's not that he's the new WWE champion, but it's his continued use of using food in horrifying ways. Now calling Cena fruity pebbles is fine as I have bitten John Cena on several occasions and he does taste like rice, sugar, hydrogenated vegetable oil, and salt. However it's instance on food products and stuffing it up people's asses. This encourages children to stick various food products up other children's asses. It's simply horrifying. You see I had a terrible medical condition of getting a food product up my bum. Sure a jar of bacon bits looks innocent enough, but when you sit it on the wrong way it's incredibly painful. I don't find it to be funny, but damaging emotional trauma. I'm writing to inform you I will not be watching WWE related programming anymore. Well... except WWE main event for that delightful Miz commentary (As I know he had food products up there at point or another). Signed, Captain Horatio Fluffnutter, esq.

Who think I give a s*** about you just because you've watched me since IWA-MS? f*** YOU!" I am not mad that CM Punk lost the WWE title, but that the Rock won it. Though given that I get the impression Vince half-asses caring about his fans, if he did read it, he wouldn't get past the second paragraph. And if anyone thinks this is another "WAAAAH IM NEVER WATCHING WWE AGAIN!!!!! (ps see ya next week)" then you're wrong, I'm watching NXT, and the matches only on Superstars, and I'm going to continue watching Raw and Smackdown after the road to WM is over, but I now have full knowledge that that show is of no interest to me, so I refuse to watch 8 weeks of adverts for it. I was fooled by this crap last year and I payed a full day's wage for an 18 second title match and a mediocre rest of the show, including, you guessed it, a dreadful Rock/Cena match. No more.

Yes, and Austin/Rock 2 and 3 shouldn't have happened based on that same logic. Rock/Cena made money and Rock/Cena 2 will make money. Will it make more? Probably not, but WWE has a contract with Rock and they're playing it safe by pairing him up with one of their only surefire draws: Cena. It will make money and it doesn't need to match WM 28; it just needs to do well.
Has Punk popped any buyrates over the course of his reign? Honest question. I realize that he was generally booked as second banana the whole time, but still...

To be honest, anyone that is reading ain't likely to be high enough on the totem pole to affect things even if your views were a majority.
