..?
Makes sense to me, Punk gets the title back at Elimination Chamber via shenanigans and then we go into WrestleMania and everyone is happy.

Yeah I actually think that's happening instead of Rock(c) vs. Cena.
However I still think Rock will keep the title until Mania.

With rumours that Undertaker isn't coming back this year, I could see this being Plan B.

It's what I've been hoping for ever since it was announced that The Rock would get a title shot at Royal Rumble.

Several though it usually involves some sort of non-finish at EC that leads to it and not hot potatoing the belt.

No point in Punk getting the title back.

I wanted it to happen back in August in one of those "Book/Predict 'Mania" threads. That's the best case scenario with the WWE title match at this point, I think. I'll be disappointed with anything less.
Also, I'm with the above post in that I think Rock will be keeping it until 'Mania as well. I'm interested in seeing what they do to extend it to that point though.

No point in Punk getting the title back. He's a heel, Cena and Rock competing for his belt is more compelling of a story and he'll likely drop it again at 'Mania. Him being in the match puts him over regardless as a heel and gets more eyes on somebody other than Cena or Rock and they bring in the casual audience. Makes perfect sense to me. Also defeats the "Once in a Lifetime" debate.

After coming off a legendary lengthy title reign, Punk really doesn't need another one right now. But I'm perfectly fine with including him in the WWE Championship match.

I hope that's the plan. Eventhough we all know in the end Cena wins. Best case scenario would have been Rock announcing he gets the title shot at Mania 29, Cena wins the Rumble, and Punk keeps the belt til Mania. Then at least we'd all wonder if Cena or Rock would be the one to beat Punk.

With rumours that Undertaker isn't coming back this year, I could see this being Plan B. Plan B should be Taker/HHH vs Punk/Brock with Taker limited ring time Plan C should be Ryback vs Punk to get Ryback some steam back over Punk

The would be the more interesting match to book out of a combination of the three. But I just see them going the boring Rock/Cena 2 route instead.

I think its a terrible idea to make it a 3-way as WM main events are best as one on one contests with clear winners. If they did an elimination match Punk would be taken out early and if it was one fall Punk would eat the fall and give them more reason to get to a 3rd match.

I just have a question...if the rock loses his title at mania like expected when will he cash in his rematch clause? I mean it will be pretty stupid if the Rock loves the title as much as he says he does and then does not use his rematch clause. Unless I mistaken the rock won't be showing up much after mania so I guess that clause will be forgotten about.
