I like the idea of these two more than a Yoda movie.

As long as Karen Traviss is kept far, far away from the Boba Fett project.

Hopefully these are good and we can pretend these are the true prequels.

Wow, Disney is going to beat the Star Wars license into the ground, huh?
Still, probably better ideas than Yoda. I'm really not a fan, and as an outsider looking in I don't get the fascination with Boba Fett, but a Han Solo movie sounds like it could be interesting if done well.

Wow, Disney is going to beat the Star Wars license into the ground, huh? Do you think they're beating Marvel into the ground too? Anyway, I'm looking forward to the Han Solo movie. Should be a good space western.

Should be a good space western. Honestly yes (though other than Iron Man 2 I do love all of the movies so far), but I do get the thought process on both. Just saying that it might potentially backfire on them down the line.

They had BETTER have called Joe Johnston (director of ROCKETEER and CAPTAIN AMERICA) to hire him for the Boba Fett movie.
He petitioned Lucas for years to let him make that movie.

Hopefully they ask Joe Johnston to direct the Boba Fett feature. He's been lobbying to do it for years now, and he's credited for creating the character I believe.
EDIT: already beaten to it. But hey, added reinforcement to get the point across haha.

I am so-so on this news for now. What I am actually excited about are the plans for a "Underground of the Empire" setting live action TV series. The only thing that would make me happier is if the next animated series featured the stories in the X-Wing series of novels and comics.

I see where you're coming from, but so long as the movies rake in the cash, they aren't stopping.
