It looks like a less gaudy version of the old title, albeit better by way of the fact it says Champion.

Correct me if I'm wrong, please. Is this now the 5th different WWE title belt held by the Rock? (Attitude Era, Brahma Bull, Undisputed, Spinner, and whatever we call this one) Replace Brahma Bull with Smoking Skull and you'd be correct. |

I always thought it was hangin' and bangin'. When did the hangin' become clangin'? It's always been clangin'. Hangin' and bangin' doesn't make any sense, in the context of what Rock was talking about. I was going off of old Hogan promos myself. ;D |

The championship was traditionally all gold, hence the reason people would say they want to win "the gold."
Now it's clear that the new title's surface area is far more diamond than gold. So I guess wrestlers are gonna have to, like, win *the diamond* now instead.

Remember when I was saying that the new title will look as bad or worse than the spinner... yeah...
In my opinion the fact that it says Champion instead of Champ is the only real improvement.
For one they couldn't think of ANYTHING to stick behind the WWE logo instead of a plain black background?

So I was thinking, maybe the Bull sideplates aren't hiding the real ones underneath and the reason the title looks like shit on TV is because it's just one they threw together for The Rock.

I really hope each new champion gets their own custom side plates. Cena's hand sign, Punk's Chicago star, Ryback's "R," Barrett's anchor, etc. Overall I like it pretty well, but the lighting on TV really doesn't do it justice; it comes off looking like the Mark Henry's ECW Championship.

I like it marginally more than the Spinner, but everyone who's saying how empty it is is absolutely dead on. I really despise the whole minimalism movement that's going on right now with design. It's not elegant or stripped down... it's lazy.
Yet still, WWE went with a minimalist design yet still found a way to incorporate a big gaudy blinged out version of their logo. Ugh.

 It's getting a lot of hate all over the web...but I actually kinda like it. Maybe I am just so thankful the spinners gone, but I don't think it's bad at all. The logo should be smaller. The black should instead be silver/platinum/white gold with some kind of ornate pattern. Exactly my thoughts |
