Yeah that solves one of my biggest problems with it... if you can give the Champion a different color (like red or silver or something) to have a bit of contrast and I think I'd be fine with it.

Awful belt, looks even worse then the spinner title. If it was a minor championship it would be fine, but as the WWE Championship? No, throw it back in the trash.

I don't know, Dwayne. It still looks like a toy to me. To be fair, it's kinda hard to make a belt not look like a toy. Undisputed title, attitude title, and winged eagle did not look like toys to me. This new one and the cena belt look like toys. |

I actually like it. I hated it at first when I saw the leaked photo of the main plate with the horrid gold background but now that that's gone it actually looks good. The WWE side plates are the best thing about it though.

Which the Rock's version doesn't have He has bull heads on the side and actually look pretty terrible comparatively  Also my problem with the sideplates are the very visible screws... but if that means they are adding vanity side plates for the people that hold it... I guess that would be kinda cool. |

My god I love this. The spinner, no matter if it still spun or not, looked just gaudy with WAY to much going on with it. Is this belt simple? Sure but I think after 8 years of that eye sore I'll take simple.

My main problem with the Spinner was how huge the WWE logo was. And this one just made it even bigger. So you can imagine my disappointment.

I like the black. When it was all gold, everyone was saying they should paint the background black
and I really like it compared to, say the Spinner which had too much going on, and the BGB and Big Eagles which areboth all a massive blob of gold with minimal detail.
I like that the side plates represent the wrestler, Punk, Rock and Cena all have recognisable symbols.

Much better without the bulls. I kinda dig it. Wonder what it would look like with a maroon strap instead of black?  Tried it with the main plate as maroon as well, but that looked like ass. |

Its still gaudy, but Im glad to not have to see the Spinner anymore.
The one area where I think this trumps the spinner is that it doesnt look as much like a toy as the spinner did.

It's not my favorite, but I don't hate it. I like it better than the spinner, but not as much as the Winged Eagle or the Undisputed title. (On a side note, why do people call it the "Winged Eagle?" As opposed to an eagle without wings?) Because Spread Eagle title sounds like something the Knockouts should be fighting for. |

I love it. Folks complain about the black background, but ascetically it was makes the diamonds on the logo "pop" and adds some elegance to the design. Between the leather strap and plates, there's a perfect balance of gold and black. It seems to be smaller, so it will finally won't look over-sized on smaller wrestlers. The idea of not having a nameplate in favor of interchangeable logos on the side plates is also a really neat touch. Overall: a huge upgrade and as time goes on could become my all-time favorite.
