Yeah the globe version would be fine. Great looking belt.

Here's a better look at the Rocky version of the belt:

Those bulls can be unscrewed.
No problem

It's not perfect. Not by a long shot. But it's a massive improvement over that awful spinner.

Absolutely fantastic job! With the textured background, the globe looks like it's set against a sky full of stars. As far as WWE's version goes: I like that the belt finally says "Champion" on it. But it really needs an eagle and/or globe on the main plate. (According to that wwe.com article, the company did consider an eagle for the main plate. I'm curious about the ideas they rejected.)

I like it better than the Spinner Belt. I think the final product looks a lot better than than the early prototype/unfinished copy that leaked online last year.

Here's a better look at the Rocky version of the belt: So the whole sideplate isn't interchangeable, just the globes? Interesting.

The belt's grown on me over the day. It appear to be more chaotic, powerful, "battle-hardened". Just imagine after a hard rough battle the champion grabs this belt and walks to the back. It looks like he's won the spoils of the battle. It doesn't appear as flashy as the spinner or as "royal" as the Eagle belts but it appears to be more of a "fighting championship" rather than a major worldwide spectacle. It goes back to the point about the older generation considering their belts were more about what it meant than the look (like the later belts have been).
It works.

Didn't to keep quoting this pic but damn it's beautiful. I wonder how the board would have reacted if this belt was under the clothe.

I came here to say something similar. I was going off in the Raw thread about the belt, but given some time to digest, its not that horrible. Granted, if they made some of the improvements suggested in this thread it would be a million times better.

The globe looks really nice, but it just would look better if the plate was circular.

You guys think this could work? I love this. It's very different, but it also gives a regal, larger-than-life vibe. The red is almost ethereal.

Without looking at any replies on this thread I'll give my first opinions on the new belt. And let me preface this by saying I hated the spinner belt. This belt is an abomination. The ugliest thing I've ever seen. Terrible, terrible, horrid, awful, and frankly, disastrous. If it's between that and the lame spinner belt, sheesh, bring back the spinner. Avatar makes this post hilarious. Can't not read this in Sandow's voice. Damnit, if I would have connected the two I would have tried to use some more wordy negative synonyms ;D

Blue globe belt....oh, what could have been...excellent work, Delta_Zero. Would've much preferred that version.
